wow that was some cool shit! I just spent all night playing that same stage over and over trying to get gold. The best time I made with the X-Wing was 1:13, and the best time I made with the B-Wing was 1:16. Of course, with both ships I kept getting silver medals because of the lack of enemy kills and sometimes my shot accuracy.

such a stupid mission, I had all Tie Fighters destroyed, and all turrets on the underside of the ship, and shot like 5trillion times at it (had x-wing). It wouldnt get destroyed, if you dont have any torpedos left, you are fucked, you have to kill yourself. The star destroyer finall escaped after some time. Picture hits, the star destroyer run away from a few x-wings, but it couldnt be destroyed anyway lmao

theres a trick where you can crash into the bridge once the shields are down and if you hit it just right you wont lose a life but you'll blow up the star destroyer

there is a glitch where you can ram into the command deck (after the shields are down of course) without it counting towards lives lost.

See, there have been other Star Destroyers that you have to fly against in other games like Shadows of the Empire, and the first Rogue Squadron... I think this is the scariest ISD yet. It will spit a wall of laser fire at you, and will rip you to shreds.

Oh, and you have to make your run against it with "Imperial March" blaring at you as its guns open up.

Scariest Star Destroyer by far. They did a great job.

Part of what I like about this game is how it captures the size and scale of planets relative to the ships' distance from them. This is what was missing from Star Trek Legacy., which could have been an AWESOME game. In that game, you can bump into a planet like it's a random floating rock. For an old game, Rogue Leader holds its own pretty well!

Yeah, I agree. In Star Trek Legacy, the planets are far too small (or the ships/stations are far too big ;) ). But I still like this game but I've played better ones like Bridge Commander, Klingon Academy and the X-Wing series.

There's no sound in a vacuum. However, because the ships are burning fuel, and the ships themselves are there, there's matter that can transport soundwaves. So while you may not be able to hear something far away, you will definitely be able to hear your own shots, and other shots hitting you.

Has anyone seen the video of the guy that beat this level in 19 seconds with the A-wing? It's nuts. That same guy showed a video of him getting the Gold medal on this level with the B-wing in less than a minute. Insane!!!
