  • "Your local live show can bring a lot of far-out material home to the viewer." That is so totally groovy.

  • Where are the popsicle sticks?

  • Very interesting. The closing plug for ITN House's facilities was voiced by the late Andrew Gardner, himsef a former ITN newsreader.

  • What was the year? From the hair and clothes I'm guessing about 1969.

  • wow, it really stre-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-etches that tape out!!

    SOLD! I'll take three!

  • 3:10 Orville Redenbacher was such a sly dog. Do you suppose he was slipping in his popcorn commercial so that it aired more often than the other spots?

  • Thanks for sharing. There were some interesting machines being used many years ago, and considering how complicated and prone to jamming they probably were, it has to be said, thank God for digital.

  • I remember seeing one of these machines at channel 10 in 1981 while on work experience. I was mesmerized by it. Thanks for uploading this

  • Spencer Gulf Telecasters Port Pirie in South Australia used a similar machine right up until the late 90s before they switched over 2 a profiler machine. It was a bastard of a thing 2 use that TCR 100!!! I hated it. I couldnt wait 2 use the beta cart similar 2 the 1 used in NTD 8 Darwin & Imparja Television Alice Springs. The beta cart use 2 hold about 800 carts. We have come a long way in technology lol

  • Nice video, James. Thank you for sharing that with us. Keep up the great work! Labguy.
