Yeah, that would have been the right thing to do, had he NOT eased up on the gas.

You can't do an inertia like that, unless you ease up on the gas and let the back tires regain their grip.

Had he kept pushing the gas pedal, he could have survived by either oversteering or by drifting out of the turn.

But no, he did what they tell you to do in in driving schools: "If you'r backside loses traction, ease up on the gas and countersteer"

Holy shit, the Supra driver couldn't drive fast or shit, not even from the beginning of the race. He was indecisive with his lines, if he even knew what that is. Imo there is no point in racing if you don't actually feel the car. When it comes to touge and all types of racing adrenaline rush. You want to win overtake, stay on tail or out run a car. So you drive on the edge. If you don't know how car react. Where is the edge of it or how to countersteer in order not to crash. Then whats the point? It will end up dramaticly one day. Just the metter of luck. Of course it is hard to tell ok now im good. Even pros have accidents.

A cop sees a modified car thrashed by the side of the road alongside another modified car that isnt, and hes gonna assume ur ass was racing. He pops both your hoods and there goes both your cars.
