To all those who criticize this guy for taking apart a 3DS...

What if he just wanted to see how it worked? I, for one, would love to see how they get the 3D effect. Also, he knows how to put it back together. I know this because I actually read annotations. Also, the people at Nintendo will have to take your 3DS apart should you ever send it in for repair, because some internal part of it is obviously not working correctly and needs to be fixed or replaced.

@subzzzuk1 If I'm not mistaken, all resistive touch screens have a removeable resistive touch film and then the actual LCD screen that displays the picture, that is why you can/need to calibrate it, so it knows where it is compared to the screen. You can buy a replacement touch film for the 3DS lower screen on dealextreme, don't remember if the LCD was being sold as well. It's more likely the LCD is damaged than the touch part, happened to my friend's DS Lite.
