  • Of coarse they had to make up the team on NCAA they probably messed up the stats.

  • WALTER TAYLOR SHOULD BE ON THIS TEAM. SIGNED WITH OHIO ST. WAS THE MOST EXCITING PLAYER DURING THAT ERA AS WELL!! DERRICK EVANS #80 WAS A BEAST AT WR TOO

  • NOOO WAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY DUDE!!!!

    Armstead went to carter????????

    LOVE him that much more

  • @mssnook61 Yea he did was on what some say may have been the best High school team ever.

  • @zephfly highland park beat them that year when they had him in 1986

  • No Carl Taylor? O_o ->2005 graduate of Carter High in Dallas... Three-year letter and two-year starter for coach Allen Wilson... Three-time all-District 9-5A selection... Dallas Morning News' area top 100... Led Cowboys to 11-2 record... PrepStar all-regional team in 2004... had more than 2,000 rushing yards in his high school career... Played in All-American Independence Bowl game in Shreveport, La., and was defensive MVP of Coca Cola All-Star game in Dallas with two interceptions (one for TD)

  • anyone got the 1988 carter roster?

  • why would you put Derrick Evans and Gray Edwards for goin on a robbing spree.

  • if carter has so many all stars how come they have 0 State Championships?

  • @SmashBrosBrawl They won state in 1988. But the title was stripped because of one ineligible player.

  • @SmashBrosBrawl Because you jealous ass cave monkeys will find a way to take them away..

  • R.I.P. Ennis Haywood RB #4, class of 1998. Signed with the Dallas Cowboys in 2003 & 2004. He was a hell of a running back at Iowa State.

  • I wanna see them play Katy if there the best

  • wats the name of the acapella?

  • DISLIKE

  • Carter was the better team of the two, the game itself proved that. If they were better they would have won...who cares who the running back was and etc. it is a team game the second string back is second for a reason, the coach had confidence in him to play if starter gets hurt. Rain, sleet or snow, the game ended with Carter as winners and they win state the following game, if Converse was better they would have won, but they did not. Bottom line

  • Carter sucks !

Come to Milford Ohio that's where the real football is bein played!!! GO EAGLES

  • FUCK CARTER !

  • u forgot about courtney "coco" sterling and tim walker from the 00 season

  • @montez0613 Sorry Carter has a rich histroy of DB's and Rb's they didnt make the cut. coco was close though.

  • Carter Highs School is still the most dominate ground game team in the DFW for the past 20 years strong! CC!!!!! Carter Cowboys!

  • Carter Sucks!!!!! I really know nothing about the school im just making remarks about the sportsmanship from Friday Night Lights, you guys could actually be the best sports in the game.

  • @flamebordr777 Get real that was a movie. Carter did not play dirty like that. They were overly aggressive though like any championship team should be.

  • somebody has too much time on their hands...

sorry, but it had to be said

  • @bluntedinatx Didnt take that long.

  • Jonathan scott is beast

he plays for the steelers now

  • wut the fuck

  • THAT RIGHT BITCHES CARTER WOOOOOOOOO

  • great vid.. a powerhouse program

on par with my local dynasties...

    Long Beach Poly

    &

    Mater Dei

  • lol why against permian?

  • I agree, if your gonna bash my team than at least put the actual numbers of the players on there, and hey, what was the result of that state finals game brother? 1-0 converse judson? You guys really need to get over a lucky game in 1988.

  • screw carter. MoJo should have one it.... They had alot better players i find.. Chris Comer, Mike Winchell, Brian Chavez, Boobie miles... exe

  • haha carter did not even play edessa in the state championship game of 1988 they beat them in the semifinals and then beat judson 31-14 in the sate championship but got disqualified because of an uneligabel player so yea

  • This must be I guess who all made da NFL. Because you are definitely missing Calvin Goldsmith (RIP) and Damian Hill. Also All-Americans! Ahndre Patterson was also an All-American.

  • This is only a few players on the team. All of the people you mentioned are on the team, if you go to the link you will see the entire roster. Thanks.

  • Zephfly that's cool. What link are u referring to?

  • Zephfly that's cool. What link are u referring to?

  • come down 2 cali HELIX would fuck u guyz up u might have crabtree but we have alex smith (his QB 1st pick) reggie bush(RB 2nd pick) , and todd watkins (WR Raiders) all in the NFL n they played on the same team u dont believe me look it up cali just does it better ohh n the dude who made this video u have no life

  • Texas is football state of the U.S. i dont care what any one says alex smith may have been

1st pick but he sucks now reggie.. well he ight but i mean the all american army bowl is even hear friday night lights varsity blues the combacks texas texas texas we would fuck yall up

  • yea that team in 1988 was talented but miami northwestern 2007 sent 21 out of the 22 started on def and off to division 1 schools. and the one that didnt go was because he got arrested. jacory harris and company

  • I am from texas, so i dont know much about the miami northwestern team, but from what i heard watching a miami hurricanes game this year, they were pretty damn good also, i think if i heard right, miami got 7 of those players, am i right about that one?

  • 22 Seniors from the 1988 Carter team went D-I. Another 15 from 1989 team went D-I. The Miami Northwest team could not have beaten the 88 Carter team. The slowest defensive starter was a tackle and he clocked 4.5 in the forty.

  • there is no way thats true NFL teams aren't that athletic

  • nice.

  • Funny.....Permian went on to schedule Carter after the 88 game. They played at least a home and home game with Odessa....so that would be at least two....Carter beat them here and I think Permian beat them at Odessa. Look, Dallas Carter deserves all the credit they get. They never were the SUPER enrollment school. They just lined up game after game and dealt their fair share of misery to elite teams such as Highland Park, Plano, Converse Judson, and many more. Cedar Hill & Desoto are on top now.

  • Odessa P didn't play carter again until 1995 and 96. they did split

  • I have a question for any carter alumni that read this, does the school acknowledge the 1988 team as state champions, for example do they display a championship team picture or trophy in a trophy case in the hallways or in the field house, i was just curious to know.

  • no not at the school but every alumni talks about it thought in the streets

  • no shit ..

  • I am not even going to hate, that was one of if not THE most talented teams in state history, didn't they send like double digit players to DIV I schools? I also heard that derrick evans #80 who was part of the robbery spree was probably their best athlete, better than jessie armstead, in fact I think he was going to go to tennessee and also that jessie armstead himself said that derrick evans would have been a 1st round draft pick!!! correct me if i am wrong.

  • Derrick was a phenom at safety. Big 210, fast 4.39, and aggressive 17 sacks as a JR, 18 sack as a SR. Lead the state in sacks both years, from the Strong Safety position. He was definitely going to be a great pro if he had kept his nose clean.

  • Okay for real if you took the time to create NCAA10 team Dallas Carter. 1. You have too much time on your hands. 2. You made a video an put it on youtube. C'mon now

    3. Permian has never had a black QB

    4. Yes they went on to win the State Title but later got it taken away for. Yes using failing athletes

    5. Finally Dallas Carter and Permian would never meet again because yes they did drop to 5A. They would'nt wanna meet us again anyways

  • Carter did drop to 4A carter beat periman in 95 easily and periman won in 96 which was one of the worst officiiated game i saw, carter is 4A still schedule 5A teams and can still beat most 5A teams, this year's team is young decent team last year last year's 4A team could have easily beat Periman's 5A team Periman has fallen bad!

  • hey crayday, i have moved out of the north texas area, are the kimball knights still any good, i played against them back in 1993, they had a bad ass team, i believe they went undefeated but eventually lost in the playoffs!!!

  • Kimball hasn't been that good since then, they moved down to 4A about 10 years ago or so, one year the did good and went far, they lost to Adamson recently lol basketball S.O.C. Kimball and Lincoln still rule! I still beleive football wise d.i.s.d schools also get out coached by suburban schools and poor resources just my take

  • Man for real you need to think before you type crayday, your an idiot.

My oldest brother played on the '95 team as a sophomore and they did beat Carter. Carter did not Blow out Permian like you said. Permian won 14-13.

They have not played since then, dumb shit

  • what? why the name calling? i'm not even going to respond the way you did, i graduated from carter in 95 they beat odessa 25 to 7. 95 graduating class! dummy! your brother didn't play on anything ha!

  • I played in the 88 game against Permian. You guys were overrated. There were two teams in our district that year (South Grand Prairie & Desoto) that could have beat Permian. Had it not been raining we would have won by 3 touchdowns. We were a passing team and the only thing that slowed us down was the torrential rain that day.

  • Would of won by 3 touchdowns had it not been the rain? Is that correct?

Well winners don't make excuses they make adjustments

  • Uh, we did make the adjustment. We came back in the fourth quarter and won. 14-9. Both scores were touchdown passes.

  • If boobie miles would have been playing, it would'nt have been as easy. I'm his cousin I was at the game, you guys were really good.

  • Comer was the better than Boobie. Much better!

  • @32purplefrog Boobie was a more talanted all around player comer was a better runningback

  • @madden09guy, Boobie was not half the all around player or RB that Comer was. You ask anyone on that team and they will say the same. Were you on the team? I was and I know for a fact that Comer was twice as good as Boobie ever dreamed about. Period!

  • @32purplefrog you were on the team! cool what posistion did you play

  • If boobie miles played, Permian would not have scored a point.

  • That doesn't make any sense

  • You ask anyone on the 1988 or 1989 team and I will guarantee they will say Comer was much better.

  • boobie was on permian and didnt play ddefense

  • fame415, What I mean is that Comer's 40 yd touchdown run would not have happened if Boobie was running the ball. He was not capable of making that play like Comer. Comer kept us in the game with that play.

  • I kinda thought you guys were overrated. Had it not been raining, I think both teams would have scored in the 30s and the last team with the ball would have won.

  • question, was carter really as bad as they were made to look in the movie friday night lights?

  • well at that time yes because its high school in the inner city part of dallas. now its not as bad as it use. did u know mike crabtree went to dallas carter. anyways there not as dominant as they use to be they moved down to 4a football

  • i agree with you when you say they are not as dominant as they used to be. what would you say the reason for that is? i think its because a lot of people have moved to the suburbs and teams like desoto are getting their players now, what do u think? did u go to carter? if so, can you answer my question i posted about the trophy case? do u know if the school still recognizes the 1988 team as state champions by placing their team photo and trophy in a showcase displayed in the school?

  • well back then like you said kids have moved parents have moved into suburbs like desto duncanville, plano, frisco, so now in the dallas fort worth area there are so many high school in just that one area. and they moved down from 5a class divison to 4a, becuase that. i diddnt go to carter but i know texas football really well

  • yeah a lot of talent have moved to the suburbs but some people beleive they would have won atleast two state championships within the last 8 years or so if they would have played where the numbers say play. For years they had a 4A enrollment but chose to play at 5A, they finally moved down to 4A 2 years ago. The championship is still recognized and Judson never accepted the trophy

  • No, they weren't. Even though Carter was pretty much an all-black school, the majority of those kids weren't the cliche stereotypical poor black kids.

They came from nice neighborhoods and their parents had very good jobs in the city. They were middleclass blacks for the mostpart. Due to that, there were at times more "fashion shows" going on at the school more than anything else. But now, they wear uniforms.

  • yo, what video editing program did you use?

  • Windows movie maker

  • Was This The Team On Friday Night Lights????

  • Yes it is
