  • hmm those little bites you are talking about - i remember seeing another intarsia video and they talk about twisting the yarn, not sure if that helps. i am making an square for a blanket (a heart too, in fact with sixty rows sc) and the bite thing is only a little noticeable on one side. then again, im not using intarsia, im just color changing and following a grid

  • thank you for the videos, i still have color chngeing troubles and look forward to learning more with your videos

  • Thanks so much for all of these videos! I taught myself to crochet and have missed many little tips and tricks that will help with these new things for me (like intarsia) and with my regular crochet projects! Thank you thank you...don't stop!

  • First of all determine your gauge. ( make a swatch of just the open squares & measure)

Then figure blocks per inch. Use some graph paper and mark off the number of blocks to make it 12 inches square. Work out a heart design on your graph paper.

  • This is awesome! How would I go about making a heart chart for a 12inch block with the heart in the middle? I've been sitting here racking my brain but can't seem to think of how to do it. -Thanks for the tutorials, they are AWESOME!!
