@VINALDADDY it looks like LA style. first of all they stay on a line, which is typical for LA style, second they give turns on 5 mostly therefore they means they start on 1 = LA style, besides, mostly salsa outside of caribe is dances LA style, not that it's better or worse, it's just easier for beginning to me. learning now how to do on 2 like cubans/new york/portoricans and colombians.

@acatto1973 This is actually on2 or NY style. Listen closely to the music and you'll see that Magna turns on 2 not 5. Also Artom dances almost exclusively on2. In fact in every video I've ever seen of him, he's dancing on2 as do a lot of the South Korean salsa dancers. As a former on1 dancer, I know it's confusing at first but after you've danced on2 for awhile, you'll be able to notice the difference immediately. I just returned from the NY Salsa congress where most of the dancers danced on2.

I've seen. The gay is good too. One thing I know, you do not get to that level counting 1 2 3 5 6 7 .

@pjuantonio you do get to that level counting. but only as a novice when you get a strong basic foundation. once you get to where you don't even think about the beat you can dance musically to a given song. the most seasoned dancers interpret every part of a song. unfortunately for a follower they need an experienced lead to look great during the dance.

well from google searches the only website i found was salsainkorea . com

i'm not from korea, so i couldn't really tell u what would be goin on over there. from the looks of it you'd have to go to Seoul. that's where all the hot spots are. i hear BONITA is a good place.

u should e-mail Magna. just ask her if she knows any good places in Korea and she'll be sure to let u know some good places or give you some friends' e-mails in Korea for you to ask. go for it! good luck :-) she's helpful.

at the moment, on wednesday, Top bar(near the Apgujung station) is famous and crowded. and on Sat, lots of Korean mentoning Turn bar in Kangnam. Bonita is still crowded and many people come, though. sometimes internet info is a bit slow and not updated. if you want, you can find me in facebook, then I'm able to answer as know as I can.

Wow~I'm surprised and pleased that I found this video here. It was my first time to dance with Magna and she was so comfortable and felt soooo good. I think that Magna is one of the best followers. Unfortunately I couldn't dance much with her because of so many people there but I'd love to dance a lot more with her next time.

lol, yep, the video is up here. i found it on another website, and i though i'd put it up. i'm pretty sure dancing with magna was a mix of emotions of being nervous and excited. yes, i'm pretty sure EVERYBODY wanted to dance with Magna...she is a talented one, she is.

hmm...i dunno? i had found the video from Daum video website or something, so i really couldnt tell u who it is...the actual site the video came in was in Korean, so i couldnt read it. but he sure is a great dancer. Awesome talent over there in Korea.

I like how Magna is dancing here, its like the early days magna, very natural, just grooving...she is always amazing ,but i think i like her in this edition best. does she have a crush on this guy..lol, just kidding..but this is what dancing is about really -chemistry and charm! we salsa nuts sometimes forget to just dance, or we lose that zone cause we are trying to improve all the time..i like it when girls i dance with are not trying too hard.
