  • I believe the homeowner, Chris Ursitti, is also an executive of he company that developed this and related products, GreenHouse. You can Google it for more info.

  • What a comercial inspired clip.. BLA BLA... Everyhting is so great.. i want to hear how the MicroFueler is from a indemendant tester.. not a homeovner that get a microfueler for free to talk about how great it is...

  • Can hemp oil be used to create ethonal? I'm really anxious to start growing hemp here in Arizona(along with raising Ostriches), once it becomes legal.

Man, I'm getting excited, but I sure hope someone can tell me if this has drawbacks. Any info would be grately appreciated. If this is for real, then I would gladly work for this company and promote ethanol to everybody I meet.

    Please! Someone enlighten me!

  • I'm confused as to why this is not more popular. Can someone help me out with this? Is this for real? Even if I have to make my own sugar, it would be worth it.

This stuff is higher octane than regular fuel? Would it be bad to put in my 2003 Saab 9-3?

  • @BarefootArizona If your Saab is not made to go on ethanol it would damage your motor. You could mix it in the gasoline at a low percentage though. 5-10% maybe.. you need to look that up :) .. Or you buy a ethanol/gasoline car (bifuel) then you can run on E85 (85% ethanol and 15% gasoline mixture)..

  • If your saab is not made for ethanol that is..

  • I'd love to see an independent evaluation of this system, especially the economics. Does anybody know what they're distilling? My understanding is that it takes about 15 pounds of sugar to make a gallon of ethanol. Bulk raw sugar wholesales for around $0.30 so 15 pounds would cost $0.30 x 15 = $4.50. If they're delivering the fermentables plus maintaining a system that yeilds $2/gallon ethanol that's a remarkable acheivement. Almost unbelievable. As I said I'd love independent verification.

  • fake ass smiles throughout this whole vid, fckn corny....

  • so...you pay 10.000 for this thing...and then 2 dollars for gas?what if my friend wants to come over and fill up and give me 2$ a gal....and i go through the tank faster...do i need to pay more to have them come over and refill my generator with garbage?

  • @alextheromanian technically, it's illegal to have someone pay you for the ethanol you produce at your house.

  • if you did everything yourself you could probably pay way less.

  • I see where you are coming from but from what i have read about this thing it will ferment plant waste. So you could in theory mow your lawn and feed it into the fermenter or say a crabapple or plum tree and feed that crap in . Another thing said old dairy and beer and cardboard can be fed into it i am sure there is a process you have to do before you can dump it in. But who knows the crossover how much waste per gallon of fuel or whatever it actually is.

  • Okay so cheaper gas, but now I have to pay more for my food. I use food more than fuel, so now I'm getting screwed at both angles. Food prices haven't dropped either when gas per barrel fell back to normal. Ethanol isn't GREEN either, look at the foot print to create the ethanol fuel...scam money taxing the people...GOV needs to release FREE ENERGY ideally the water engine, byproduct H2O and Oxygen free electricity, grow own food for free SELF SUFFICENT humans independent & responsible

  • what's the mpg though?

  • I heard gas miles drops anywhere from 15 to 30 percent depending on the car.

  • I meant ethanol drops gas milage anywhere from 15 to 30 percent depending on the car.
