its been a great season and many rides were up and running. kingda ka even was running great..the end of the season was not the same without the scream machine. Hopefully 2011 will be great as well.

I'm afraid to go there. I've never gone on a full scale major coaster before, except for Busch Gardens, but it was a log flume with 1 huge drop, and I was 8, so I was crying when I got off. My band is going next year for some competition.

has kingda ka closed at all so far in 2010? I live about 6 hours away, and I go once a year, and am planning to go this saturday. Last year, it was closed when we went, which sucked. Do you think it will be open this saturday? Will it close if its cloudy/windy?

Go with nitro...trust me that breaks the ice.....that was my first rollercoaster.....or you could try the small ones like dark knight and skull mountain...theyre pretty boring if you ask me

lol getting there at 10:30 doesnt help always, I went there opening day last year and only to find people in tents and the parking lot already more than half full. I didnt know there were so many people crazy as me, lol. When we got in people started pushing and stuff sprinting to el toro and stuff,lol

I think it will be crowded on Saturday but if you get there when the park opens at 10:30 you should have time to cover a bunch of rides before the park gets really crowded.

Well I've gone to the park three times on 3/27, 3/28, and 3/31 and it hasn't been crowded at all but my friends have gone different days and said it was packed. On a Saturday I would think it would be crowded.

@Coasterz247 It was not crowded on April 10th. Eltoro was closed for half of the day. and all rides were walk ons KINGDKA KA was a walk on.

@ijeffrey85 yep if you go off peak during a week day(when the park opens) everything is a walk on. I got on kingda ka in 15 minutes.

When kingda ka was closed for half the season in 2009 after the cable snapped i was the first person to ride. The day it reopened i was at the park and got front row first ride of the season for kingda ka nerveracking but fun. I go every weekened in the summer and have a season pass best amusemnt park ever

I was there also. No lines at all=p Waited for kingda ka to open as soon as we got there. Some kid kept singin wanted to punch him in the face but oh well. Cant wait to go back next weekend.

I would think that the sooner you go in April the less crowded it will be but the weather forecast is also a big part of it. I would say get there as soon as possible if you are looking for shorter lines.
