@ltm7575 It's a good question. Use the first application (up to ~1:45) for a less serious wound. Don't overtighten. If bleeding is profuse and not stopped by the first stage, proceed with the additional pressure (1:45-2:15). After it's set, check for circulation (press fingertips, fingernails, etc) in the limb, and slightly loosen if there is no circulation. Recheck often. With elevation and this pressure, it is often possible to avoid a full tourniquet, even with serious bleeding.
Invented in Israel by Bernard Bar-Natan. He is native of Brooklyn and the son of Holocaust survivors who immigrated to Israel in 1979. He was drafted into the military in 1983, serving an abbreviated service as an adult.
Don't use if boycotting Israel. As well as cellphones and many Generic Medications (By Teva). Not to forget most immunizations.
@czl29 Not to forget violin. And black caftans. And morality. And G-d Himself! All the things invented by Israel & Co, of course. Or chutzpah and false attribution.
@czl29 I don't boycott anything and am jealous of nothing. You create your own phobias and phantoms that haunt you and fuel your hostility towards the world. Get over yourself.

I work a lot with chainsaw, this bandage should be better than normal bandage and sponge in case of ... you know what.

stupid question but this will not cause the need for amputation like a tourniquet? and can this be used for smaller non life threatening wounds?
