Nonsense. I still say fee-uh (fear), deze (these), dem (them), doze (those), toidy-toid and toid (thirty-third and third) and so on. So does everyone of my friends, family and most of the people I know. It's typical for people like her, who are either out-of-towners or don't have the accent, to claim that the accent is either dying, or that there's no boro-specific accent. Plus, it's New York, not Nee York. Funny how she's not able to pronounce the word new (noo) correctly.
The aboriginal Irish came from Spain. That is why they have dark hair & eyes and swarthy complexions.
