Why will the ocean levels rise? Go and freeze some water. What happens. It swells and takes up more space. Most of an iceberg is below the water.If it melt then we get MORE land. But the world is cooling and so there will be more icebergs and they will take up so much land space will certainly starve and less land to grow crops and the plants will die due to cold. Duh! Your starting with Ice IN the water already thats why your example stays the same.

Fill your glass to the rim then add an ice cube and see if the water doesnt spill over and out of the glass! Yes it does!

If you take the Ice that is held as ice sheets and ice shelfs and basically stored On Land in mountain top glaciers and dump it in the ocean it will melt in the warmer waters and raise the water level, also ice bergs are solid, melt them and now they are water than can expand with heat..

Humans do create alot of c02, but this is hard to belive to be the major factor in climate change because in a 'Earth' with larger amounts of c02 would increase temperature BUT would also be thriving enviroment for plants which trive in more c02. Now we know plants are NOT thriving.

Austrailia has suffered decades of serious drought. Global warming has sent an 87 square mile ice berg in Austrailia's direction. What would it take to hook an aircraft carrier up to it and run it on down to Austrailia? Does Austrailia have a dried out bay where this ice berg could be deposited? Even if the ice berg didn't last long, it would be fun. Even the Navy should have a little fun. Hell, it'd be at taxpayer's expense. And this taxpayer thinks this would be fun.
