  • use to surface fish for carp like this but now i free line and use a buzzer..just keep the slack up and keep eye on it. you will know when thay take it and not miss as much. to cast far free linning just put your bait on and rapp another bit of bread over your hook bait and squeze it on the shank of the hook only enough so it will get you out there. but margins are good too

  • 3 changes of t shirt

  • your fucking shit at fishing

  • That had got to bne the worse rig/setup for surface fishing i have seen mate, how many fish did you lose????? Mate get that changed now!!! or you just a noddy?

  • Ive caught bigger fish on a stick

  • @xxJwS Some stick you've got there...

  • Nice video pal! Can't believe some miserable gits put dislike! Was great!

  • they was some nice sturgen

  • Nice work man your good. Funny vid and good fishing :)

  • the fish eating your bread knows you have a hook on it! dont go after the fish cast to the side of where the carp is and wait for them to come to you and watch them take your bait straight down there throat!

  • you shouldnt 'be fast' and strike quick! u should wait for the controller to move across the surface coz thats what its there for!

  • you should get a bigger net maybe

  • how can u wacth for sounds of fish

  • i live in the uk and i use a 13m fishing pole with 17 hollow core elastic, i cought my pb the other day on floating pelet hairrigged, i love seeing fish take it off the top, b the way im 14 years old..

  • normally when i surface fish i use controllers but ive learnt if you use a float that needs shot when surface fishing they get hooked automattically i used a 2 ssg shot float and managed to take fish off surface all day biggest was 7lb

  • wheres your unhooking mat?

  • Aye, you had a nice pasty there at the end. Never managed to catch a roach surface fishing myself so well done there too!

  • i noticed they played around with the bobber a bit. so what i was wondering was would a good size carp hit a top water rapala??

  • Bubble floats offer bolt rig setups, because of the drag against and in the water, causes a self hooking setup. My choice lol

  • you should try without a float just a hook and bread

  • The bread bait was too big

  • when and tryed this today grate turn out a 11lb ghost 9lb common and a 8lb common grate way but i fished on chum mix

  • do you put hair rig onto this rig or just use main line for everything?

  • @unimatrix666 make an hair rig out of mono then drill two dog biscuits no need to strike then just mek sure ya baitrunners on dont use braid for surface fishing

  • Great job man :) good carp

  • walk of life from dire straits haha

  • Why put that music in - it stinks!

  • God that music - rather go fishing!

  • nice landing net :) how mutch did it cost? .. rofls

  • Great vid, floating crust was the first way I ever caught a carp.

  • hi guys i have never done this style of carp fishing. im not sure if i can pick up these carp floats since im in aus. but would normal little ball float work?

  • a normal float will work just as well :)

  • Good music!

  • dog biscuit on a hair rig is the ticket for floater fishing !

  • if u use a slip float rig wth a minnow as bait u might catch one

  • ukfisherman iis a jerkwad jackass

  • ok we won't, Nice comment dude maybe fuck off and leave the guy alone he's not harming you so fuck off =) learn to fish

  • cool, my mate caught a 13 lb mirror carp at barmston farm on 2.5 lb line fishing for roach on 4mm pellet ! :)

  • Try using a smaller lighter hook, you'll get less aborted takes size 12 is ideal for chum mixer and mount it on a KRC tackle bait band as these are very light and clear unlike many others.

    Good video !!

  • muy malo!!! ni idea de pescar tiene

  • wow very nice video, keep up fishing for the biggest one.

  • guys why u all come up with these types of videos where u just catch carps domesticated on ponds ha?anyone can easily catch such carps on ponds try catching them in wild rivers where they cruise freely dude.damn these types of videos r good 4 nothing

  • Really gd vid m8!

  • when i fish on the surface for carp, we use a 12 ft middy rod with 2 pound line with a dog biscuit with size 12 hooks and we catch 10 - 12 pound carp all day.

  • 2 pound line?

  • in this video when you say you need to be quick to get the fish y dont u just get a selfhookin rig then u can take all the time in the world

  • nice fish, i would like to see more mate !

  • HAHA nicre censores i'd love to see more videos like this.

  • good video mate. would like to see more

  • censored !! lmfao good job

  • any one got some tips on how to hook a cork or how to make bread/lunchen meat stuck on the damn hook?

  • for meat, cube it and put it in the fridge over night and it will firm up, or light fry it to do the same thing. to hook bread or meat, push the hook straight through, turn it, and push it back in again. hope this helps... XD

  • hair rigs

  • Awesome vid!!!!!! I love seeing fish take bait off the surface!

  • I like your fishes i am going fishing soon i hope i catch one like yours!

    I like the ducks!

  • Lovely vid mate! Keep it up!

  • This Video wasn't made in the US numnnuts.

  • feckin eejit

  • I always use dog biscuits on a bait band, never fails to work, Prob not the most efficient way but it works for me. Caught my PB last week which was an 18lb carp.

  • I think surface fishing for carp is the most exciting way to fish for them. A lot use the pole with no float for better presentation, but I use the same rig as yourself. Tightlines.

  • prutser

  • Nice Vid - Good Angling

  • And the carp I go for are in the region of 15 to 25lb on an 8lb line with size 8 barbless hook. Try using mini marshmellows as well. And one last tip, cover your chum mixers in strawberry whip powder mix they love it, failing that use a splash of Senses carp flavouring.

  • It's soposed to be a joke! please don't take it too seriously!! Like I said, I had to do it for uni.........

  • Well this is the right way and the wrong way. First of all the line didn't need to be 10lb, and secondly why didn't you just glue the chum mixer to the hook as it would have stayed on for longer and also the small fish cannot break it apart. Why cast all the way over to the tree when you could have just lowered your bait in say a few feet or more. I have caught countless carp using 8lb line greased with vasaline to make it lye on the surface.

  • worst thing you can do is grease the line, what causes carp to spook in most instances is seeing the line lying on the surface of the water.

You can eliminate this by using sinking lines like fluorocarbon (try rubbing it in mud if your line doesnt sink), or by lifting it off the surface by dangling your line over a tree branch or other methods :)

  • once i cached a 5 kg grass carp with this method... that is a god way to catch carp , but it's bad if pond has plenty of small fishes

  • nice tadpole

  • WTG, I just freeline foating bread. Can't beat suface feeders!

  • sound surface carping
