This is rap for the mature individual. No songs about murder or drug dealing or other gangbanger bullshit. It's just all around feel good music. This is the type of music that will turn those who hate rap for various reasons into supporters. It saddens me though that Minneapolis radio stations don't play more Rhymesayers music. I guess that's what happens when only two companies, ClearChannel and Radio One, own pretty much every station.

I love Atmosphere and I honestly don't know where I would be without their inpirational and motivational lyrics. Their beats roll deep and their words are like magic words that enter my ear drum. I'm so ready for The Family Sign. I'm going to pre-order it so I can get it signed!
If you been LISTENING to Atmo since headshots atleast, you would relize his marking at this point in his career. Never put rhymesayers in the category of the virus I like to call POP. Keep it underground as Atmo has done for 2 centuries. Who else has?

I first heard Atmosphere on a CD I found outside when I was 9, and 11 years later I'm still listening to them every day; I can only pray that after my next deployment I can continue to do that.

Atmosphere sticks there guns, there not gonna change sometimes they have that raw hip hop vibe and sometimes its more poetic and downtempo, and eerything in between, it shows, you cant deny the success! Thats why people love them. But music grows and so do people! it cant stay the same. well at least the good artists! it has to evolve or your just not an artist your a moldy bacteria thats been sittin

This is rap for the mature individual. No songs about murder or drug dealing or other gangbanger bullshit. It's just all around feel good music. This is the type of music that will turn those who hate rap for various reasons into supporters. It saddens me though that Minneapolis radio stations don't play more Rhymesayers music. I guess that's what happens when only two companies, ClearChannel and Radio One, own pretty much every station.

Atmosphere is still the shit, but lately, their newer shit coming out is more alternative/pop. It doesn't have the same hip hop vibe as it used to. It sucks to say, this album, from the leaks i've heard, are kinda disappointing. Keep it hip hop.

@RudyIsDope559 GLU was released 10 years ago, Overcast was in '97...you can't be a pissed off rapper forever. slug is what, 39 now? atmosphere's newer shit is still quintessential hip hop but its far more musical than their previous work. I mean, they are now a 4 piece "band" rather than a 3 (with spawn) or 2 person hip hop act.

Atmosphere has always made this type of music,this isn't the first song that they have made that doesn't necessarily follow the traditional/stereotypical form of hip hop. if you don't like it,go find some other music to listen to.
