  • 點解0:16開始約10秒吾跟鼓ge? 吾通系HKACC嘅特色?

  • cadets are amazing!!!

  • Great job! We here in the US appreciate all that you do. It's nice to have allies like you!

  • What is the music? The name of the march?

  • Traditional Scottish song...... We're No' Awa' Tae Bide Awa'..........

  • @UH1EGuns Hibs 6 Rangers 2

  • is this video before or aft 1997?

  • the story is funny, in very beginning, they linked up with RAF no. 28 AC SQN (SHEK KONG) before 1997, and after 1997, they did not linked up with PLA Military , as they think the tradition from RAF and British Army is more "cool", that's why they dress in RAF code , and they prefer look like RAF instead of PLA...

  • just keep traditional traditional!!

  • they are the hong kong Air cadet Corps... those guns a fake, toy gun only.....

  • WHy RAF Right Marker too short

  • we are canadian !??

  • are they Canadian

  • No, not us. They are RAF.

  • oh thanks :p they remind me of RC(air)C :p i guess not the brits have good drill tho

  • They are marching like true gentlemen.

  • I was born American but God I love England and would die for her too. I guess it is in my DNA as a decendent of England.

  • Would you die for Hong Kong too cause these guys aren't the real McCoy ;)

  • i lol'd

  • I like the British style of marching better then the Chinese way. Thanks for uploading it.

  • The tune is "We're no awa tae bide awa".

  • One of the funniest films I've ever seen. What were the two dwarves at the front? Squadron mascots?

When I served on a Royal Air Force guard of honour, every man was 5'10" or taller, a badged marksman and had seen combat.

What we see here is just a joke, a feminist joke. No wonder they issue tiny, plastic rifles these days. The little girls couldn't lift a real gun, let alone fire it.

  • They are the Ceremomial Squadron of the Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps, and many cadets you see in the video are just 14 or 15 year old boys and girls - on the same token, do you expect UK Air Training Corps cadets to be all 5'10" tall?

Since you claimed to come from RAF, I should add that your Queen's Colour Squadron colleagues certainly do not share your sexist and racist remarks. They just finished two weeks of training for these kids in Hong Kong, courtesy of RAF.

  • They are just air cadets, some are 15 or 16 years old.

I am sure your QCS colleagues do not share your racist and sexist remarks. The Queen's Colour Squadron just completed a week of continuity training for these kids and have lots of praise for these young peoople. HK is a Chinese City, but still very much an international city, and we cherish our long standing and ongoing friendship with UK.

  • I beg your pardon, auxair. I didn't know they were only cadets. In that case, well done to them and I retract my comment.

When you are older, you will find that good-humoured inter-service banter is very common. It should not be regarded as offensive.

  • Harsh he might I can see RegVerrin's point though. What's the point of doing drill with fake rifles? The real military dooes drill with real rifles as part of their weapons familiarization training to build confidence in weapons handling. Unlike other Commonwealth cadets the HKAC never fires anything that resembles an M16 or AR15. For them there's little they can't otherwise achieve in drilling without arms so this all makes them look pretentious.

  • Much like the beginnings of Capoeira in Brazil and Lion Dance in China, when Oliver Cromwell banned straight lines during the Republic period, Monarchist militia found a way to continue marching-training in secret by queuing for things. This is why Queen Elizabeth sits on the throne today, and why Brits are so good at queuing.

  • Nice to see some proper marching, pity the yanks can't march as smart as this flight.

    Nearly as good as us.

    B Flight, 3 Sqn,305th Entry, RAF Hereford

  • It was British Hong Kong, hence the uniforms and the marching and also the traditions and music involved.

  • what country is this?

  • Should be Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps
