i seriously couldnt watch this after 1 minute i was bored, you dont grab your audience's attention you talk to slow, you just didnt grab me and keep me interested in what you was saying. i love TF ive watched it as far back as i can remember (and im 26 so thats a long time ago). ive got the original VHS of the orginal TF Movie and some of the figures. but this just didnt interest me sorry dude.

@Vdecepticon its not that you talk slow its that you pause for a few seconds all the time rather than it just flow like a conversation should, and it sounds like your just talking about what ever like your making it up as you go along rather that it be planed out so your not constantly going "errrr so yeah". but if you ask me all criticism is good criticism because it helps you improve....but if you dont wanna take it like that then meh go figure!

Another thing I hated about RID (and this problem has plagued Armada, Energon, and Cybertron) is that the characters always have to call out their names and then shout "transform" just to do so. Not to mention they constantly call out attacks and stuff. It wasn't so bad the first time. But after the 100th time or so, it starts annoying the shit out of you.

The BEST part of RID was bringing vehicles back in full force. (can't really count the Beast Machines stuff) Transformers always seemed better suited to vehicles than animals IMO, Beast Wars might have been the better show than G1 but the Transformers themselves (not necessarily the toys due to production differences) were better. I remember almost crying seeing Prime as a form of a truck again after years of Primal.

To be honest, I didn't like this show at all. Koji and Kelly where two of the most annoying characters ever to be put into a series. Kelly on the other hand has no importance or significance to the story whatsoever other than acting as a mere distraction. All in all, definitely not my favorite of shows.

RID the first japaese esc ransformers series i got behind.. okay not really still kinds cool .. Okay it had metroplex. ...

Skybite was the best. its the wrong colors for the X men logo...

I liked RID, more than the current TF show, TF prime, RID seemed to get over looked a lot, sure its not the best but it still stands out better than the Prime series!

@superomegaprimemk2 WOW !!!! To each his own I guess. Keep in mind TFP is an original series & RID was dubbed. A dub that wasn't even close to the original as far as content/substance. Honestly, the best part about this series was the toyline. Don't get me wrong, I love the cell animation, some of the characters & episodes....but in my humble opinion this series pales in comparison to TFP. Just my opinion though !!! :D

and maybe Voyager Megs (undesided on him)

As for TF prime show, I just feel the charaters are rather dull and boring, with nothing to make them stand out against the crowd!

@superomegaprimemk2 The only real issue that I have with TFP is that they keep repeating episodes & haven't finished airing this first season yet. I think the voice characterizations are excellent : Peter Cullen (Prime), Frank Welker (Megs), Steven Blum (Screamer), ...etc. The animation style (to me) is a cross between BW & Animated. I like the fact that this series is a little darker & seemly geared toward older fans as far as dialog/story despite the "kids". Can't wait for the toys !!! :D

@Jerovision I just lost interst in the show after ep 18 I think it was, there was nothing to really keep me hooked, the stories were getting down right boring and there hardly any humour that makes me laugh out loud, in general, its a relatively weak series to me! The simple fact it was rushed into production means they never thought things through properly & Welker talents are wasted on this series, give me a TFA season 4 not TF prime trash!

As for Landfill, he's actually a really cool figure w/ his ability to change configurations. The new molds for this series were all cool in fact !!! 10 changer Megs/Galvatron (Gigatron/Devil Gigatron in japan) was a truly sick figure, but I hated his voice characterization. I didn't even mention that voice actor in my Baddest of the Bad vid because I was so disappointed (it wasn't an oversight). And I definitely liked "Wildride"(CR) vs "Xbraun"(RID) as a character...major difference. Cool vid :D

@Vdecepticon  It almost makes me feel bad because he's a talented voice actor (minus this project), so I prefer the term "poor performance"-lol. But that voice characterization was suppose to sound like his Japanese counterpart from "Car Robot". It cracks me up because RID was so kid friendly & in "CR" the characters used curse words. This was also the series that brought back the "Machine Wars" story line & the first TF cell animated series released in North America since G1.

As always, interesting observations. I enjoyed "Car Robot" but RID...not so much!! Very cool toyline though some were repaints, but the story as it was told somewhat changed from it's original version & that took away from it. As for the "attack announcements" they couldn't help it, it was part of the original Japanese story (when Dragonball Z was popular). In fact the Build team directly imitated the "Gunu Force" From DBZ's Freeza saga when they assembled as a team striking poses & such.

R.I.D. is one of my favorite toyline in the Transformers universe ( my favorite of the toyline is Optimus Prime [ as usual ] and Ultra Magnus to form Omega Prime ) , but as for the animated ( anime ) series itself ( oh seen it in both English and Japanese ) I'm kinda double sided on it ( as for voice acting .... is wick'd sick dope , Neil Kapen as Optimus Prime fit so well ) , but u hit the nail on top of the head but on the clip episodes ( it was @ the time of 9/11/2001 ) , overall cool V !!!

@Vdecepticon On the recap episodes , due to what happend on 9/11/2001 Fox kids @ the time re-edit a few episodes one of them where the Perdacons trying to destory a large buliding and Autobots trying to save it from falling and hell yeah Optimus Prime & Scourge was STILL clashing , still the full episode was never fully seen in the U.S. One question : outta the this toyline which is yo' favorite man ?

some of the autobots had good designs like Optimus prime,Team Bullet Train(i still need Rapid Run and Midnight Express),The Build Team(i want those 4 toys,but they're are some damm expensive on ebay),wasne't really found of Ultra Mangnus' design in this show.also i want to know they should of been more decepticons besides scourge(Nemesis Prime in my mind)and the combaticons repaints.
