Haha this is all very not true in certain ways haha but in sum it's spot on haha I get up at like 9 and I do school in my bed all the time haha and I can eat whenever I want but I don't want to get fat hahaha so I don't lol but the truth is I SUCK AT PIANO haha
ok I wake up at 6:30, start school at 7:45, and end at 2:30. I eat healthy food for breakfast. I DO NOT do scool in my bed, I do it at a desk. I am in a good choir and a musical with a cast of 90. I have a PROFICIENT social life. I have very good clothes. But i do have to say--this was FUNNY!
ok, im tired of this crap, i've got one ball on fire and the other one just about to explode, i am going to make a list of peoples heads to be chopped off, this shit already got on my nerves....
i am homeschooled and the only things that are true is the sleepy thing, and thats not really true cuz im staying all night up all night long, its 6:57, i didnt get up, i was awake already
one thing i really do is practice shadow sword combat (against an imaginary opponent) 1000 times even after the movements have got integrated into my arms and legs, and thats not even close to what that video says
i say you remove that video, there are parents stupid enough to believe that crap as if it were not mockery, why dont you make a video about school kids? how they have to suffer in hell, why dont you do that?
Oh. My. God. This is so friggin reminiscent of my life. When I home schooled I wouldn't wake up til noon and I did school at like 4PM-midnight. Hilarious. I'd totally wake up and eat cookies and crap. But I really did like my online classes and learned a lot from them.
It was class provided by the state, every U.S state is getting them. Find your state education site on Google and either find a link to see if they have an online school (usually K-12) or someone and ask. It's accredited and can be free.
Sure. If you find a good website/school and school, there's a WHOLE bunch of awesome classes for HS most of the time. Chinese in foreign languages, Forensic sciences, Web design classes.. really good stuff. You can really customize your transcript. But you have to be pretty computer savvy and stick with em every single day.
Well then to me, it doesn't sound like home schooling is a good match for you. Unless you do a lot of extra curriculars outside of your home (like taking dance lessons, music lessons, something with your church group etc), you probably won't like it. You sound socialable. I began homeschooling in grade 4. I went back to high school this past year and I really enjoyed it. May I ask why you suddenly want to home school?
true. i want to sleep in and have a more flexible schedule and work at more of my own pace because i always take too long on tests and stuff. and i think i would waste less time and get a bit of a better education
All totally valid reasons. You should really try talking to a guidance counselor first though and tell her that. See what she says. She could help you out with your concerns I bet. Well, not the sleeping in thing. But you can't do that when you have a job anyways. When I had a job this past year I died every morning before work.
okay ill do that. thanks for ur help :) i probably wont go through with it because i dont want to miss out on the social aspect of public school but the idea of it sounds amazing to me
uummmmm, most stereotype homeschoolers get up at 5, win spelling bees, are totally socially awkward, have no life outside of their parents slibings and old people, and are absolute geniuses. at least the stereotype-- NOT me... =P
Eh, some of them. What I think is hilarious is that most kids under the age of 18 in Hollywood are TECHNICALLY homeschooled. But they say they have a "private tutor since they're always so busy" *rolls eyes* same, same lol
I disagree. Homeschoolers DO have social lives!!! seriously....way too many sterotypes about them. waaaaay too many. and I really really disagree with the end....but the video is a joke, right? yeah. I'm sure it is. you're reall good at violin & piano, Amanda!! great Job to Jake too. =)
Wow everything you said was wrong. Dumb public schooler.
