  • what do you use the Amplitude knob for?

to kind of "focus" the image?

    thank you

  • Lol, 5:50 - sister walked in "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU LISTENING TO?!!"

  • It goes up to 11 !!!!

  • put some pepper as well

  • Chladni is not from Jugoslavia or Serbia. Chladni is Slovak who is born in Germany.

  • Someone has an idea how tu put these lignes in equations ? I tried to use some differential equations but i don't know how to determine all the constants.

Thank you for helping me if you can, that's definitely not an easy problem to solve (but I can see some solutions online, it should be possible)...

  • Hello! I am looking forward to reproduce this experiment in my maths class since I have to present Sophie Germain's work. However, I don't belong to the physics department and I need to borrow the material to the department. Could you provide me with a list of the material needed please? Also, could you give me an explanation concerning the procedure for the montage? If you speak French, feel free to reply in French :) Thank you for helping me!!!!!!

  • Do you have a pictorial of each main freq and the shape it makes? Such as the foundations freq 174 and its shape? Or 285 and it;s shape?

  • And yes, that is pretty much how the universe works people. It works on frequency vibrations not even noticeable to humans.

Humans can hear frequencies from 20 hertz to 20000 hertz

(1 hertz = 1 cycle per second, 1 Khz = 1000, 1 Mhz =1 million. A 1 Hertz wave is 186,000 miles long, 10 Hz is 18,600 miles. Radio-waves move at the speed of light.)

Earth is wrapped in a donut shaped magnetic field. Circular lines of flux continuously descend into the North Pole and emerge from the South Pole.

  • @stillnessONtheWAY

The ionosphere, an electromagnetic-wave conductor, 100 kms above the earth, a layer of electrically charged particles acting as a shield from solar winds. The ionosphere is being manipulated by HAARP, (High-Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) which sends focused radiated power to heat up sections of the ionosphere, which bounces power down again in form of ELF waves and when targeted on areas can weather-engineer and create mood changes affecting millions.

  • @stillnessONtheWAY

Educate and inform.. it is your right and duty as a human.

  • Students must be amazed a lot more. they hide their feeling. Their true feeling is "WOOOOOOOW OMG AMAZING I CAN'T BELEIVE THIS!!!"

  • Please, let me know if anything happens after 20khz.

  • Really interesting -I'd like to know if anyone has tried this method but using the Solfeggio Frequencies??

I think that would be an interesting thing to test

  • would you be able to stack maybe 4 of those plates on top of eack other with a space between each then take the pattern from each plate and make a 3d model of the wave??

  • cool. but the teacher/instructor was a dick.

  • Now you know how solar systems are formed, the planets and their orbit lines!

the sun spins and wobbles sending waves into the ether plus the reflection of those waves from the resistance of the ether, the gases and matter coalesce's from that resonance. It's also how the rings around a plantet like Saturn are formed.

  • Wow, Where can i get one of these machines???

  • hi, very interesting video, i'm writing a dissertation on the subject, can u suggest any readings? i'm already on hans jenny's cymatics. cheers

    g

  • How do you do this?

  • never the same forms

  • Very Cool. Can this Effects be Generated from an Synthesizer, that have a White Noise Generator ?

  • hahahaha we was monkeys back then without drums... maybe a stick!

  • 300,000 years ago we were most definitely homo sapiens sapiens, as we are now. It took roughly 30 million years to evolve fully from a species of ape to what we are as humans now. In addition, music was very much in use 300,000 years ago, and drums are some of the most primitive of instruments. As such, I reason that 300,000 years ago we were indeed humans in Africa (and other parts of that landform) using drums.

That said, I disagree with NOOITNUCHTERCLICK. Just spreading the knowledge.

  • thatnks for sharing that knowledge with me. i had no idea that the had drums 300k years ago, and i will likely never forget it.

  • Don't people have the right to re-discover science?

    You're a bit harsh I find.

  • meth on a square is cool

  • cool teacher!

  • So well..

Chladnis grandfather came from Hungary, nowadays it is Slovakia..

but Chladni himself was german second-generation..

    half of the truth..

    Gr.Adr.

  • I wish my physics teacher did things like that in class :(

  • in the beginning there was a sound....

  • word wouldn't be possible without sound, my friend :)

  • You can do this with a free downloaded signal generator on your computer whose output goes to an amplifier then to an audio speaker (the base). the plate is wood. Google Hutchins also, she has tons of information published on this technique to tune violin plates.

  • whats the brand and model of this electronic oscillator ?

  • did he say if we go far enough we will see a mexican god??!!

  • no, a MESSAGE from god.

  • That's neat. But my ears hurt. : ( 4/5

  • it goes to 11!

  • thats one louder than 10

  • wow...is this a physics class? if it is, I'm excited because its coming up later in the year :)

  • Could you tell me of which material the plate is made of? I want to do this as my final project at school (same as kharlitoz). I dont know which parts/materials i need to do this experiment.

  • Yes, the patterns represent the shape of the waves; the salt moves from where the plate is vibrating to where it is not vibrating.

  • that's AWESOME i just wish i could understand the theory behind that phenomenon a little better... basically the sound is making the salt vibrate thus creating patterns? but do that shapes represent anything like, the shape of the waves? sorry if it was mentioned on the video i'm not a native speaker. thanks!

  • What you say about Yugoslavia and serbia? I can't understand

  • great stuff

  • Think it causes crop circles?

    Its called Cymatics isn't it?

Feckin hurts my head though, my cats are going ballistic!

  • what is that "pedestal"(base) your using?

    nice experiment =P

  • It's called a vibration generator. It works like a speaker. Costs maybe $100

  • oh ok, I'll look out for it, thanks!

  • @yerrahyouknow can i find somekind of a computer software thath cud simulate a vibration generator

  • It is called a signal generator. Yes they are expensive but you could download one (google 'download signal generator'), but you would probably need some way to amplify the signal if you try doing it that way.

Google 'chladni plates violin' for an alternative method. Good luck with the project.

  • Hi, i need help with this....

i'm about to finish the school, and i have to present a final project, and i wanna do this....

then could you tell me what's the machine which makes frequence decrease or increase name?...

    ist it expensive?...

i'm from colombia, excuse my english

  • 'NEVER GETS BORING"

    amazing

  • amazing

  • so cool that someone was teaching kids about this ^_^

    good for him =D

  • thats fuckin amazingly awesome
