It's a pretty good set up, but it's as if the car was too light, because there wasn't really enough follow through. In reality, he would've gone flying, or straight under the car.
@anim8ordude Yeah kinda but it was hard to get it perfect because I gave the car real car physics so if I had made it any heavier then the suspension would look all weird and be bottoming out. Then if I had made the suspension stiffer then it would have moved to stiff and wouldn't have looked real. If you think about a real person getting hit at 50 or 60 mph that's enough to push the shocks down and alter the car direction like it did in the video. So all in all I think it looked pretty good.
@anim8ordude Plus I did probably like 10 simulations and I liked this one the best. There were times where the guy was ran over and was dragged under the car then there were times where he was hit and he flew too ragdoll like. So I tried to get an in-between simulation. I'll be doing plenty more tests though. I liked the way this one looked.
