  • can you tell me how do you adjust the rpm of the engine by rising the switch???

  • My friend was trying to replicate something like this.

Its totally awesome to me and great video!

  • don't know french!

  • what's the name of that in french, please!!!

  • Thanks. The solenoid engine was much easier and more fun to build. No plans, just made each part to fit the other. Used a junk pile crank shaft and wheels.

  • You do very nice work. I am most impressed and motivated by your productions. What would you say is the construction difficulty level difference between this Solenoid Engine 2009 and the Little Angel or the Silver Angel engines? Thank you for posting videos, Rafael (flyingtractors1)

  • Maybe, never thought of that.

  • so if you hook it up to a pulley and run it with a steam engine or another power source does it become a generator?

  • now you can satisfy the electric car people that need their cars to sound like a piston engine

  • Thanks. It took abour two weeks I suppose. I worked of it off and on, It was fun because there were no plans, just made one piece to fit another,

  • That's a great job Joe. Well done. How long did it take to build?

  • GREAT Video again, You do great work, love your little display boxe,s. great job!!!!!

  • @buckcreekman1 Thanks, I appreciate your comment.

  • how hot does that solenoid get?

  • @dodgedart74 I ran it once for five hours straight. The solenoid was just slightly warm. I am sure the brass air vanes help but they are only for looks really. Thanks for your comment.

  • @TheCoinchanger no problem, i was just wondering, cause i just build a twin solenoid motor, and when i run it for even 3-4 minutes, it slows down derastically JUST because the heat it is giving off, the efficiency goes down i guess, and im running it at the directed 16 volts, soo idk, maybe you have an industrial solenoid, cause mines are from a doorbell. very nice sophisticated looking home-brewed machine though,

  • @dodgedart74 I bought mine from a catalog I had. Cost about $10 and are covered with a metal case.

  • Thank you David. It was fun to build. Keep an eye on my youtube, (Thecoinchanger) I am building another Solenoid engine, this time a walking beam type. Should be finished in about a month. Joe

  • this is fantastic...
