  • Let the good times roll 1973

  • Saw berry at jazz fest in new Orleans rockin & Rollin with his daughter , plays ,sings & dances just like dad. What a show!! Randy Barlow from n. o. Are you out there?

  • I would have loved to have seen something of Bo Diddley and Chuck Berry that is longer. The riffs they played are lifeblood for Rock Guitar.

  • Sheer rock n roll class, seen Chuck live, never had the pleasure of seeing Bo, I am sad that today's youth are served such puerile manufactured pap churned out as music, it will eventually devour itself and with luck, whither and die.

  • I miti del rock and roll in assoluto...

  • Legends. But can either of them actually play in tune??

  • What is the name of this live concert documentary?

  • Holy Shit ! How does the universe didin't collapse ?

  • Who is the Taliban Goof that doesn't "Like" this? KooK.

  • Great scene!

  • Great music, true Rock and Roll...Chuck Berry and Bo Diddly class acts....Bo and Chuck thanks for the great music....Bo RIP

  • OMG! If only some of these new artists had a clue...

  • Gods of Rock.

  • Yeah.

  • Is this from the 1973 film "Let The Good Times Roll"? I saw it as a kid, but can only remember bits of it

  • this is awesome

  • Holy crap.

  • That's Rock-and-Roll in it's purest form!

  • old black guitarist were awesome. why dont we have these any more?

  • @theimpeccabledude Chuck Berry will be disappointed to find out that he is no longer an old black guitarist.

  • @crusteous i guess i should have phrased it more appropriately. sorry not a native speaker.

  • @theimpeccabledude no apology necessary. I was just being silly. Great clip and, rest assured, you know more languages than I. :-)

  • these people have only a modestly higher

as the legendsthese people have only a modestly higher

    as the legends

  • The way they both move, now that be rock and roll baby.

  • That stage is too small for so much rock and roll.

  • Masters of the universe.

  • bo and chuck record for chess

  • -- how the universe did not explode out of existence at the moment this was recorded is beyond me...

  • @cantecleer You said it perfectly!! The hairs on the back of my neck just stood straight up and shot across the room!! It just doesn't get any better than that!!!

  • from the 1972 film Let The Good Times Roll.

  • fucking awesome

  • is that a big muff i hear?

  • Imagine if Jimi Hendrix was on Stage with Them too.

  • the two fathers of rock together and 2 of the muddy waters best students

  • awesomeness

  • pure class

  • WOW!! These guys suffered alot but the music was great & fun. (Lookout here comes a big opinion )Now everybody act's mad & cocky noboby will ever match this class.

  • como eles viveram intensamente o rock!

  • can it get any better!!!! only in america

  • It took them until 1973 to get together that blows me away. One would think that they would have shared the same stage way before 1973.

  • imagine if James Brown was there too

  • Oh, man, it was not ENOUGH! But a taste is better than nothing. SO GOOD!

  • You know Im 21 years old and I wish that I was my age now back then so I can see these amazing musicians live, But I guess Im stuck watching it forever on youtube and only hearing it on the radio. Theres not to many men my age who say that to often.

  • @leathergunn I'm 44 and feel the same way, it amazes me when I hear stories of bands that played my area long ago, who was opening for them, venues that are long gone. We can thank the Gods at YouTube and sattelite radio for thinking of old fogies like us and letting these guys live on forever. Roy Orbison said it best, when asked how he'd like to be remembered he said "He'd like to just be remembered"

  • The reason BO D guitar look like that because it is based off 1 of the first guitars the old blues men made way back out of a cigar box that's why it look like that Bo stayed true to the origin of the early guitars for blues players pure class so now you know thanks

  • if Chuck Berry has been white it should be no Elvis,,,, ,,,,,

  • @chrsirian leave it to a dumb ass to trash elvis. everyones gotta trash elvis instead of appreciating the man for actually bring black and white together go fuck yourself dude you werent even alive then to know the impact of elvis none of you self proclaimed "niggas" were southern blacks knew and love elvis because they knew if it werent for him their music wouldnt be mainstream at all .

  • @mofoca22 claim he stole music yeah right hes teh one who gavve credit to little richard and chuck berry and others when introducing a song for the first time on stage. look it up and listen if you dont believe me so fuck off retard

  • incredible

  • Wow Where was this concert? It wasn't in Boise ID in Oct 1973 was it. I have a framed poster from that gig, they played twice.

  • This needs to be about two hours longer then it is. Fantastic!

  • Man... can't get any better then this...

  • 0:59

And the gods descend upon the earth.

  • The interesting thing about Chuck is that as much of a hard ass He was off stage, He was so gracious with guest musicians on stage.

  • Fricken awesome!

  • 2 Hot Damn Rock n Blues Dudes !!

  • just plain beast

  • If I remember right, this was from a 1973 doc about one of Richard Nader's 'Rock, Roll and Remember' package tours, That also included The 5 Satins, Little Richard and bunch of others. Hard to believe they were all still pretty young when they played these shows.

  • Two incredible musicians on the same stage together....magnificent!!!

  • @jm31563 Yes, you are 100 % right!!!

  • This is awsome!

  • the true godfather of rock n roll together maybe it could be fun with John Lee Hooker and BB king too !!! ^^

  • Them guys were amazing. A friend of mine met Chuck Berry in Cleveland after his show and told me that Mr. Berry was just an absolute gentleman, a nice guy, and an amazingly wise person. That had to be one amazing show with both of those guys together.

  • DAAAAAAAAAAAMN baby!!!!

  • fuck yeah!

  • Bo Diddley and Chuck Berry released an album together way back on the Chess label called "Two Great Guitars"

  • Awesome!!!!

    perfect show

  • just brilliant

  • This is an incomplete song taken from Let the Good Times Roll (1973). The actual song from the set/documentary is "Bonsoir Cherie/Johnny B. Goode" in its' entirety and it's Chuck Berry feat. Bo Diddley.

  • two great guys playing great music, i love america!!!!!!!
