Vigilante 8 2nd Offense for PS1 my favorite none of that 8-bit music lol, in order to get those old levels from Vigilante 8, you must when playing the game pause the game so the music tracks show up, swap your disc with the original Vigilante 8, close lid (for ps1), A message should appear: V8 LEVELS ENABLED, remove disc put 2nd Offense back in.

I'm pretty sure this isn't the N64 version. The frame rates are too smooth and you couldn't go to the levels from the first game.

@Catscan93 That's Dreamcast it's being shown on, Dreamcast has the best graphics I've ever seen for that game, 16 bit on Playstation, and I think 32 bit on Dreamcast.

This may be a biased opinion because Vigilante 2nd Offense for the N64 was the first Vehicle Combat game that turned me on to the series i loved the fact of Machine Guns & other weapon pic ups mounted onto cars

As for Twisted Metal amazing series been around longer than Vigalante 8 & Death Race. TM been going since early 1995 i own them all except small brawl but i gotta say the story line for Twisted Metal is epic & all Vigalante 8 1 & 2 Has a better story line and nicer cars too (new comment)

To answer your question in my opinion Vigilante 8 is a better series but thats just me i love twisted metal but the one thing that makes V8 and V82O So much more high octane than TM is for an old arcadish game with retro graphics (which i love btw) retro games rock ok back to my point in V8 you can level anything to the ground i loved that TM is hardcore but never matchedthe full destructive standards of Vigilante8

they made V82 for playstation? guess I never thought about that but the graphics must've looked the same as the original V8 if it were on the playstation haha

I had the Dreamcast version of V82 and you could unlock the old levels with a cheat code

He put the first V8 into the PS1 while Second Offense was playing... you can do that to get the first game levels. The first V8 while gameplay, you can switch the game with a CD that has songs on it.

Good game, but after playing the Dreamcast version i couldn't play the N64 one, if you love the N64 one thne you'll will be amazed at how much better the dremcast one is, control wise, graphically, better music.
