Being a prick, Yes. The easiest thing to get right in a military film is hair. I am a historian, and ww2 reemactor. I applaud the helmets and other gear BUT the haircut should have been the first thing.

Well in fact the gear had been gathered for our next movie (which should be more accurate due to approximately 20 actors, shooting the film at location, a decent script -in progress- etc etc etc) So we had the gear even without this little thing here xD

i am a WW2 history buff and that BAR does NOT sound like it should, Maybe you should actually fire the weapons for real before you record a sound that is incorrect. now that i know how far the explosion was i can Scratch that comment for the most part, I can get you a REAL sound for an M1 Garand AND a BAR. DONT YOU EVER contradict me. But its pretty good anyways i await to see the FULL version when complete. Hope to see it corrected. and to Fire a BAR single shots would have to be on slow auto..

First of all, we're using selfmade replica weapons so we never fire it... the record was not made by us... the vid is almost completed and my cousin has just saved it and converted it so that means if he would have to replace the sound effects, he would have to change every single thing in that scene... Try to convince him, your call, but I won't, and Im not bothered with it either... it's a bit more complicated than just recording our own sound. (pt1)

pt2: My cousin is indeed not entirely satisfied by the BARsound, and okay, it might not be perfect to your or his ears, but it doesn't bother me that much... it's perfectly possible that someone modified the sound to make it more fitting (to his ears, I dont know) But I appreciate the advice, and I hope you will enjoy the movie (or shortmovie xD) for what it's worth... btw, where are your war movies, and I really dont believe you man, saw your channel, you ww2 hisory buff? btw you almost cant record a "real sound" on every video of a for example BAR the sound is a bit different, depending on the angle, mic, etc etc. but i do know one thing our BAR sound doesnt sound like a Garand at al!

i dont make WAr Movies, im not a director, Nor do i Make videos of myself shooting my Uncles Gun Collection (collection contains over 100 Guns) The BAR sound in your Movie preview sounds like an M1 Garand. id like to make a Sound reference to you for the BAR, if you play Call of Duty - Call of Duty United offensive on PC it sounds EXACTLY like A Real B.A.R....The M1 Garand sound on the Game is a Bit off but it only needs to be a couple hz Lower to be exact.

First it is an actual sample of a Browning Automatic Rifle, and you can obviously shoot an automatic rifle in single shots... (besides you only saw like 30 frames/1second so how could u tell that there arent more)

4. You can actually survive an explosion even if it's only a couple of feet away from u. Matter of luck...
