  • what year was the aston martin from ?

  • the italian sport cars weigh less than any aston so they have a better acceleration from 100 to 200 (KM/H).

  • 4.6 seconds? Does it hell.

  • i perfer british cars i think there faster and bettter looking

  • ASTON MARTIN!!!!!

  • Eh... gate shifts are not only more satisfying but look better.

That being said, my Merc has a big lazy automatic gearbox.

I myself am considering a DB7 because they're so damned cheap nowadays.

  • If i was him i would have BOTH cars :D

  • Clarkson wears an Omega Seamaster.

  • 911 turbo sucks, save even more money and get a nissan GT-R and still go faster

  • @43438366 the GT-R is fascinating for its price, but dammit, learn something about cars!

  • @490Dodesheide what about them, just because you get the most obvious option if you want speed and affordability, doesn't mean you know nothing about cars.

  • @43438366 yeah your right, the gt-r wins in affordability but you said the 911 turbo sucks. and a 911 turbo is a brilliant car in every aspect...

  • @490Dodesheide Except for the fact that if you buy a 911 turbo, for a bit less, your neighbor could buy a GT-R and with some tuning it can be running alongside cars like the Veyron, for a porsche to do something similar you would have to get the 9FF GT9 and that is a $600,000 car. Now, witch would you rather have?

  • @43438366 I guess the tuned Nissan would be a good buy but I think an original Porsche Turbo that makes about 3 seconds to 60mph and is still an original, not tuned, perfectly engineered and developed car would definitely do the job for me.

But I have to say that in my country you have to pay a LOOT if you go to fast and get caught. So a Maserati Gran Turismo MC Stradale would be the perfect $200000 car for me. It is not so fast (in comparison) but makes the very best noise EVER heard!!

  • I wouldn´t be able to choose one of those two, so I would save some money and take the 911 Turbo(996 obviously) wich is faster and in MY opinion is also cooler better than those two

  • British cars are expensive unreliable heavy but beautiful lumps enngland when the italian cars are full of precision engeniring purpose built for SPEED

  • i like both, german, italian, english, and some american cars (vettes, mustang gts, vipers)

  • I don't know what Clarkson's on about with the interiors. I've had the oportunity to ride in both, and the 360 has nothing on the Aston. My dad had it with Parchment and Forest Green leather...yum

On he exteriors though - it's all about the Ferrari :P

  • I'd take the 360 any day.

  • Ferrari rocks!

    DB7-->6.0lt...o_O wow,

DB9 is soo so much pretier :D

  • nah db7 is far more beautiful!

  • Clarkson has to be tripping! Hell that Aston Martin handled like a pig!!! Did you see all the body lean and wobble damn near every time he took a turn? This 'review' was ENTIRELY bias! There were a couple of sloppy turns he took where I didn't think he was actually going to make it!

  • @FreakKeeper I agree. Ferrari looked like it handled WAY better from the outside views.

  • i hate pie but aston martins kik ass

  • i hate you british cars are the best

  • @mufc655 british cars are NOT the best but they WERE good

  • Well obviously he decides to like the Ferrari 360 because he did buy one, after his DB7.

  • He's a twat. Ferrari any day. And hes talking bollocks about the 1 gearbox.

  • The F360 is so named because when you get to a corner, you go FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF- and do a 360.

  • u look like a peace maker

  • clarkson is a bit biased when it comes to british and american cars

  • naaa...you should see the aston martin...

    it is really powerfull...

  • a have a aston martin like that...

  • you bought the wrong car... ferrari is the answer

  • I love it. Somebody who actually agrees that a car like this should have a fully manual transmission. You don't want to shift? Buy a benz. Everybody else with the balls (and the means) will buy a car like this. It's unfortunate that an automatic is even available. Sure, there's no clutch, but it's still an automatic.

  • it depends what u want the car for if ur going to use it for racing ur gonna want to buy the paddle shift if ur gonna use it on a daily basis ur gonna want to buy an automatic because of all the traffic and if ur gonna just take it out on weekends to break speed limits and screw around in it ur gonna want the manual see what i mean??

  • I completely agree, my friend. My point is, though, that with a car of this caliber, there is nothing like a good old fashioned clutch and a manual shifter. Race car or road car, anything with high amounts of horsepower should give the driver full control. Not always the case, though, particularly with formula 1 cars. They generally have the paddle shifters. Are you a car fan yourself? If so, what do you like?

  • His hair! Ha ha! My mom had hair like that!
