Veggie Burger Recipe - Sainsbury's Try Team

This seems like a good recipe, I'm off to modify and try. There are egg replacers that you can purchase, or I've heard you can use things like ketchup or apple sauce. There are all sorts of reasons why people don't eat eggs (allergy, belief animals are not commodities or simply because they find animal products unhealthy) why all the judging constantly?

I really don't get why you wouldn't want to eat eggs.. I can get the fact that you don't want to eat the eggs of the chickens in cages.. but when they're running around freely.. if it's just because you think it's gross.. then I think it's kinda silly..

i've never heard of Fava beans. Are they available in america? Or are lima beans the american equivalent. That is what they remind me of. Excellent video.

Broad Beans are Fava beans!

Love this would also add some walnuts grounded minus some of the flour! You can also make some flax seed gel *handmade* instead of eggs as well.

made these last night, and for those vegans out there like myself, don't be turned off by the egg in the recipe, its completely unnecessary. My burgers turned out great with using just the flour (i used whole wheat).

Also, I handmashed mine in about 6 min, as I don't have a food processor, the recipe was so easy and simple to follow. I will be using it again and again!

Wow, I was the first to comment on this and my views about this product have not changed.

It is utterly delicious! I've tried it and it tastes wonderful with a dollop of Sour Cream on it. Very Handy to eat during cricket matches.
