The world would be a better place if this had 5 million views. The same can't be said about many other videos on youtube that have, but don't deserve 1/10th of that view count.
@SuburbanDon Hey that is something worth noting.Did the pizza taste better cos you tipped the world famous bass players father for bringing you food at work no less?
Neither Jaco nor Herbie, very obvious if you listen. The pianist and bassplayer on this audio is just average players. You can hear it in the vocals as well. Not especially inspired compared to the verision Flora did with Jaco and Herbie on another album.
So beautiful. This version of "Las Olas" is off Flora's album, "The Midnight Sun" (1988), featuring Marcos Silva on piano, and Bob Harrison on bass. The other version of "Las Olas" with Herbie and Jaco is from Flora's "Every Day, Every Night" album (1978).
I like very much this song when I listen it feel very relaxed I feel the same listening to the Great gig in the Sky and Humming I love women and their voices
Love this version of the song.

Funny thing . Though Hancock is listed on the LP credits, it really doesn; t sound
like Herbie - f.i,. the piano solo after 2..00
& Average Tyner voicings etc
