i have a 95 dodge ram i got code 12 & 41 any advice for what to check..its not charging. i already replaced a new battery and alternater

@ej6sohc code 12 is normal thats diagnostic mode code. Code 41 for dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth is Alternator field control circuit open or shorted.

I think you got a bad wire running from the Alternator to the car's computer.

It has to be in "ON" position but do not start the car!

what would it mean if there are no flashes when u put the car in diagnostic mode, but the check engine does come on when ignition is in the run position?
