Very cool, John... I got myself an RC50 and it's pretty powerful for solo performances. Keep up the good work. I can hear some strokes of Jesse Cook. Good stuff. Compliments.
Some purists might scoff at the use of a pick and I'm often one of them but you seem to have invented a unique pick / firnger technique. Is that pick thingamajig your own invention? Nice.
I'm using an rc50 loop station. I began by recording 4 bars of scratch rhythm. then I overdubbed an 4 bar vamp, then overdubbed chords. Next I played the 4 bar lead phrase. (not an overdub) From there I switched to a pre-recorded 4 bar guitar rhythm were I could play the melody and improvise. At the end of the song I went back to the original live recorded phrase and finished with the into lead. The rc50 is a great tool and a lot of fun to use. Best, John Gilliat
Muy bien tocado John, si señor;tienes una técnica muy depurada y además transmites unas melodías excelentes con tu acústica. Todo un logro. A ver si vienes por Spain!!
man this is so lovely...some nice percussive compas at the beginning...and you were just blazing that guitar up. I just came back across this in my favs...so great
A nice solo rendition. It restored mu confidence when I read "loop station" in the info section also -D
