You know what Kevin Smith's problem is? He is blind enough to believe that his community college level education and inane sophistry ("it's true for me but not true to them") are sufficient to carry him forward through life. He's a disastrous combo of a huge ego, stemming from obvious natural intelligence, and gross ignorance about anything outside of pop culture. @9nova6 Honestly he shouldn't be upset. This guy actually managed to build a career and make 9 movies. Not just any 9 films where he was hired by someone else. He actually has enough clout to write a script and get the film greenlight based on his own story. Are any of these films great? No. But to be fair, 99.9% of films aren't. Are they funny? I think a few are. I like Zack and Miri and Dogma.

He also has built up his own fan following and made millions on tour and thru his website.
