even highly modified the civic is simply outclassed. I've seen 8 sec porsche turbo's barely hit a rev limitter racing. A stock 997 seven with a little extra boost is a 10 sec car. Ofcourse you pay for that sort of performance. I doubt the modified civic at any price handles as good or makes an easy daily driver. still fun to watch.

A Honda fanboy continues to talk shit about the other car and point out how many mods he has done. At the end of the day The Porsche is still the better car and a 500hp Porsche could be used as a daily driver where a 500 hp civic wouldn't last a week as a daily drier.

@21dmart lol idk what you're talking about, have you ever owned a 500hp daily driver civic? my friend has a civic with about 200k on it and its running between 350-400hp been a daily driver for at least 2 years. not a single problem. AT THE END OF THE DAY a 500hp civic is a good tuner, as the 500hp porche is stock or has some bolt ons.. lol idk if you're smart enough to see where i'm going with that, but there's nothing to be proud of after winning a race in a car thats 500hp stock.. lols

11.6 is rather slow for a turbo honda given the fact naturally aspirated hondas can run into the 10s and even 9s. Very nice porsche though!!

Would take the Porsche over the Civic, but I really don't like that Porsche, its been lowered and what not. I will stick to my Jag XF, Jag XJ12 Vanden Plas (pronounced Vanden Plah), and my favorite, my 1968 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII! All original, perfect condition and valued at $150 000! I don't need a car that will do a straight line the fastest, I run mine around an Autocross track every Friday. It takes a lead foot to win drag races, it takes skill to win in Autocross!

@doomsd46 It takes a lot of skill to drag. especially if the two cars are pretty evenly matched... a tenth of a second too fast response time, missed shift, too much power(spinning tires), etc etc any ONE of those can mean a lost race. It's not like pulling up to someone in a mini van. especially when you quote a elapsed time and are trying to hit it dead nuts.
