What is good about Pokemon? It's impossible to sympathize with the characters. I want Pikachu to get slaughtered because he's so annoying. Ash is gay for Pikachu, and his moronic dream to "be the best" is unjustified. Brock is just your typical horn dog and Misty is just some generic slutty dits. And all the different kinds of Pokemon, this obsession to "catch them all" is moronic. And the strategy element to the fights are simple and stupid.

I've only had a chance to read the very first part, so I can't comment.  So far, it is a short autobiography on how he became an atheist. The latter part is supposed to be how and why he changed is mind.

I've spent a lot of my time learning Biology and medical diagnostic technology, so philosophy is a totally new thing for me. So far, I see the debate about "God" as a big jumble of a mess of incompatible ideas that don't go anywhere but a massive circle.

So, what were the "wrong reasons".

In a nut shell Flew became a deist because he believed that the complexity of chemistry and biology could not be explained without recourse to an intelligent designing agent.

Flew did/does not have a good enough understanding of evolutionary biology or any other science to support that claim, and I do not know why he continues to defend it.

If memory serves, the froward of the book addresses this by explaining that Flew no longer accepts intelligent design and that the only reason he accepted it to begin with was the inability of Dawkins to explain evolution properly to him.

I skipped a bit ahead and Flew's argument at least partially entails the concept of infinite regression and how deism solves it as a problem. I think he also attacks Dawkins for applying biological evolution to cosmology.

And just so we don't stray to far off topic, Hollywood sucks the big one when it comes to their movie portals of how evolution is supposed to work. No wonder such a sound scientific concept is considered so controversial.
