One thing she said on camera, but didn't appear to say to her family, was that she felt passion with JP. She probably had her questions in her head about marrying a man 10 years older than herself, or he lived in N.Y., etc. I think he will cherish her. Sometimes people marry persons who are completely opposite of themselves. They can learn to appreciate those differences and see how each brings different strengths to the relationship. I hope they have a long, happy life.

I think her sister is very considered in her response. I think she may also be right. Ashley is passionate and very much in love in with JP and vice versa. With Ben she has fun and feels at home and acts more at ease but there is less passion - perhaps because Ben is a little more reserved on camera when it comes to showing his feelings. With JP the passion is there - but perhaps not so much the fun. It will be interesting to see what happens in the future. None of us have a crystal ball.

To be honest, i see where her sister is coming from. She seems a lot more herself, fun, and goofy with Ben. I think that Ashley is physically so attracted to JP, and in love with the passion and way he makes her feel on the surface, that she overlooks the fact they dont have the same personality or similarities. I think she sees Ben as someone she can be open with and be herself with, but at the same time she doesn't feel the passion there. I think she isn't as in love with him.

Ashley said it herself, she's having doubts about JP. It's the "passion" she's addicted to, and that will fade over time anyway. She's so upset because she has a hard time letting go, and she knows she has to let go of JP, and that "passionate" feeling she has with him. If she was a man, we would say, "Stop thinking with your dick!"

I think Ashley is very unsure of herself and putting other people's opinions above her own. If she were more confident in herself she wouldn't be so upset by her sister's honest opinion, she would either accept it or dismiss it, but it shouldn't have left her in tears. In this short clip, she seemed more scared of her family than JP was.
