I liked when I chose the "critique" option where Jensen called him out on being a scared child who was jealous he couldn't get augs himself. Darrow's reaction was fucking PRICELESS, you could see on his face that he was just fuming with anger.

the way how to convince him properly is to keep choosing the extrapolate until u get the chance to press L1

but if u don't have the social enhancer orb then i think u should just keep choosing extrapolate

@masterchief13241 Choosing extrapolate again and again doesn't always work. Sometimes you have to use another one. I don't think appealing ever works, but the other one does at one point. And while the CASIE augmentation is a good way to know what will appeal to people and such, I don't like using the alpha, beta, or omega persuasion systems. It's kind of an ingame cheat to me and it's much more interesting to try to do it yourself as far as I'm concerned.

@4v8sk30gpq I attempted to use the CASIE aug during my playthrough, and using the pheromone (even the right one) instantly failed the conversation. Yes, you can lose it, and it's easier to do than you think.

@8BitOldie Interestingly enough, when I played through this again, I actually lost without using the CASIE aug. I don't remember how I did it, but I mostly used emotional arguments in the conversation and it really ticked Mr. Darrow off.

I also managed to win by using the omega pheromone. Go figure. :-D

I think the arguments are randomized to a degree. Cause I made different choices an still won. I think its mostly about how they react to what you say. If one way gives a negative response try a different approach.

@Sifer2 I think it might also depend on how you treated them if you met them earlier (such as Taggart), or maybe even how you solve various quests/treat others in these dialogue challenges, since you don't really talk with Hugh when you first meet him.

Damn, I had two goes but didn't try that combo. I thought Extrapolate was the way to go from the "Social Enhancer" cues and the way he stumbles if you throw that out at first.
