The host isn't bad because he's rushed. His personality isn't great, his voice annoys people and like he doesn't say anything clever like seacrest or dermot on the x factor uk, he's just very dull. Nick cannon is good too. Idk nothing he says makes me laugh or makes me thing this guys cool

For those who are hating on the host of the show, please be aware he has very strict guidelines to comply with including specified time slots for commercials. He's not making up the rules as he goes along. The manner in which he calls out the names of contestants staying or leaving is all pre-determined to add to the drama and the emotion of the fans. The host is a great guy who treats all the contestants with dignity.
