- Why do people start calling things lyrical hiphop?

- Buddha Stretch: Because those are the people that can't dance to the beat so they have to dance to the words. That's simple if you can't dance to the beat you have to find something to dance to, so they start dancin to the words. And they come up with lyrical hiphop because there's lyrical jazz. But it has nothing to do with hiphop. You don't dance to the words if you don't like the beat.

@DGSwalk PPL that acctualy CAN dance dance lyrical. if u CANT dance to the beat u ll never be able to dance to the LYRICS as most singers and rappers have 2 or 3 words a beat... requires more controle faster movement and some real musicality to do so and to even understand what its about so cant blame ya for not getting it :)

Hip hop dance is Hip hop dance and lyrical is lyrical. There is no in between. People just need to learn how to dance real Hip Hop and stop changing the name!
