How do you collect all these quotes? Do you have a notebook with you at all times to write down a quote whenever you hear one? 'cause, I've been trying to make a quote list for a few months, but I never have anything with me to write them down. And I try to remember them, to write them down later, but my brain seems to be awkwardly bad at remembering quotes :p
@kassiehp0593 regardless I love the existentialism videos. always interesting. also I think that learning with video as a media always works really well. if you look up the mole song for chemistry, you'll never get it out of your head :P
Woohoo! I won number 10! Actually can't believe I've won something. Loved the quotes in this video. My favourite quote changes constantly depending on what mood I'm in or what I'm reading. Currently I love the quote "If you want to know what a man's like, take a look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals." May have been reading a lot of Harry Potter recently.
One of my favorite quotes is from the book Boy Meets Boy by David Levithan. It's "We pencil-sketch our previous life so we can contrast it to the Technicolor of the moment." I've always love this quote ever since I first read it a LONG time ago!
@kassiehp0593 I did the same thing! David Levithan was the first author that I was really OBSESSED with, I own almost everything he's published (that I know of) and have read everything too! That's why Will Grayson, Will Grayson is one of my favorite books of all time... because it has my two favorite authors, John Green and David Levithan!
1. Those are some really awesome quotes. Most of the quotes I bother remembering are silly or are song lyrics and for some reason I'm mildly ashamed of being really fond of song lyrics.
2. I'm excited for your educational videos. I don't know much about different schools of thought so yay for new knowledge!
3. What kind of fish are those and why do they think hands are food?
If you like jack Kerouac and like in Boston you should visit his home town it's about 30 minutes away and there is a park with poems and quote-y things
Since I don't understand even how to pronounce half of those topics, I am really looking forward to the educational videos! And the quotes were really inspiring too :)
One of my favorite quotes is Dr. Seuss: "Be who you are and say what you feel because the people who mind don't matter and the people who matter don't mind."
Also I believe you forgot the most famous quote which would have fit one of your clips quite nicely. It's "nom nom nom," and I believe it was written by Internet.
What kind of fish are those!? My mom was telling me about these illegal fish that salons tried to use a while ago that would eat the dead skin off of your feet and make them all smooth. But apparently they made people really sick, so. That's no good.
I won four calling birds! WIN! Thanks Kassie :D I'm really excited for your philosophy video(s), philosophy is a subject I've always wanted to study more but I've never really had the opportunity.
Yay bucket list, go to the UK! But you forgot to add to that one 'and have youtube gathering' ;) You know, so I can awkwardly say hi and then find myself at a loss for words and then feel embarrassed :P
Other than that, actually quite excited for this whole philosophy thing. I find some aspects of it very interesting, although I'm not very educated in that area so may not be able to contribute brilliant comments.
Yay! Please try to do as many of these videos as possible before May, I have an exam on about half of them then :P (obviously not really replying on you though, just would be nice to see before I never want to think about them again)
Also that end clip of you saying "This is the wierdest thing in the world" should be your outro kind of like Morganpaigeloves "Awkward ending to my video" thing she used to do before the finger guns.
1. I have a goal to read 30 books too! best of luck!
2. I'm excited for your philosophy videos.
3. I'm curious about your experiences attending a college far away from home because I may be in the same situation next year. I know this relies heavily on a family's financial situation, but how often do you plan to visit home each year? Do you notice that you're very far away or do you feel that you could as easily be an hour drive away?
I love your grandmother. She seems like a fun lady. I can already tell that I am going to enjoy this philosophy talk. Granted, I know nothing about philosophy, but that's the fun of it! Teach me, Oh Wise Kassie. Teach me your ways.
"So, Hank, welcome to 2011. A year when Google believed we wanted to know whether a popstar was a deceased, imprisoned, fifty-one-year-old, gay, bisexual, female, German basketball on its way to North Korea." -John Green
Sometimes a quote has to be silly, lest the depth crushes you.
Considering your brilliant taste in quotes, it would be amazing if you changed your ending sig. to a different quote each time. It'd be a formula, but still refreshing/new! :D
Loves the quotes, one of my favourite quotes is by Joan Didion 'We tell ourselves stories in order to live', I always get goosebumps when I think about that. And if you comes to the UK and London then I'm guessing you'll probably go to the Globe theatre it's such a different experience of Shakespeare!
@Eduardotipo Isn't nerdfighteria amazing? A land where no one stops watching because an intelligent subject will be discussed. In fact, our response is "FUCK YES!"! This is amazing. Thank you Green Brothers, for all you have done for all of us.

Such amazing quotes. I need to become more literate. One of my favorite:
I am with you, you men and women of a generation, or ever so many generations hence;
I project myself—also I return—I am with you, and know how it is. Just as you feel when you look on the river and sky, so I felt
