get the new dv3 it is worth it and way better and cheaper... im using it to go to college since the commute sucks and i say it has the feel of a mac book with the price of a pc and the performance of a pc

hey how does this handle HD youtube videos?

crisp and smooth as long as your internet connections allows. Instead, the intel atom plays HD video very choppy and laggy. Neo definetely outperforms atom even in its single core version

DV2 = 64 bit cpu, Mini 1000 = 32 bit cpu. The idea behind the DV2 is to still have a 64 bit cpu in a laptop but also inherit some of the netbooks physical mobility characteristics. Sort of sits between a Netbook and a Laptop. Im thinking of getting one because although the Mini 1000 is nice the 32 bit cpu (Atom) is a bit of a turn of.

HP hasn't got a price on the blu ray drive yet, and from my understanding they aren't available I just got a prototype or something.

yes it is a blu-ray drive, don't know the exact cost of it, but I have a call with HP tomorrow and I can find out.

it is an external drive, I think I might of said built in in the video but that was a mistake.

thickness closed is less than an inch, kind of tired but tomorrow I'll messure it.
