i say if you're going to be a *true* artist, do it at your own pace, and mix it up a bit. don't play it exactly as Paul did. pretty good though. as i've said on other 'blackbird' cover vids - i can't play it that well. can't handle the chord transisitions gracefully :p

the guitar is not out of tune. the frequency of the G-string (which is played almost constantly during blackbird) is particularly piercing in the recording (due to recording device or guitar, i duno) and that is probably why it sounds out of tune

Spunds like maybe you need to mute a string in there. Maybe mute the D string with your index finger, sounds decent but something is ringing all thtrough the tune and it shouldn't be. Just a suggestion.

You should tune the guitar to an open G on the A string ..It`s much easier to play that way. Just tune the A string down a whole step to a G, you will not have to put your fingers into so many different positions. On the other hand since you learned it your way forget about it, it sounds just as good.
