If you have ever owned any of these devices you would understand that the zune is in fact sturdier feeling then the ipod... better sound quality... awesome controls with the touch pad and it has built in WIFI! i understand the pc only argument but it shouldnt have gotten a 2.7 in compatibility because it can play file types that the ipod cant! so they should have taken that into effect...

Meh, I was debating with the Zune and the iPod, and I'm no Mac person. I came to the conclusion though, that when it came to a device being a useful HDD and lasting, that the iPod would be worth it. I have not been disappointed yet! :D (160 GB)

@zzranmazz Zune has wireless sync, can play HD movies and play HD radio. Songs on Zune Marketplace are dirt cheap. Also, why do you need 55 hours battery life? Unless you are goingto be outside for more than 24 hours (very unlikely), then maybe it would come in handy. I like the Zune HD's design as well.

@ProManUnitedFan wireless sync does sound cool, but the zune can't even play HD videos on its own screen can't it? the cowon d3 can play 1080p on its own screen. not to mention all cowon products after the s9 have customizable interfaces, you can pretty much change the operating system. and in the end, a music player should have good sound quality, and cowon is the best in that department. i don't know how hd radio is different from normal radio but it can't sound better than FLAC and jeteffect3
