  • "When a government is dependent upon bankers for money, they and not the leaders of the government control the situation, since the hand that gives is above the hand that takes.

Money has no motherland; financiers are without patriotism and without decency; their sole object is gain."

"The issue which has swept down the centuries and which will have to be fought sooner or later is the people versus the banks."

  • did anyone see the pre screening of this movie? if so what was it like?

  • This fell out of my favorites somehow

  • When are you gonna release this thing? I'm already waiting for months!

  • @St0rmbre4ker - Thank you for your patience with this release - it will go out in UK / Europe in spring 2012 and in the US a bit later. Currently the film is doing the festival circuit around the world. We will release official trailer II shortly with more specific dates. Thanks for your interest and support.

  • @RenegadeEconomist

When may I buy the film on DVD?

  • @RenegadeEconomist And the DVD? I live in the sticks. Hours from a city.

  • ron paul or no government at all. it's quite simple.

  • @maddies1 Ron Paul is a Fascist.

  • @tommytowne LOL. made my day.

    how so? please explain.

  • @maddies1 Corporate unregulated fascism with no government to protect us. No democracy, no constitution. Just corporate. Look into your position a little better and educate yourself. American Libertarians are the wet dream of the rich.

  • @tommytowne ok. if libertarians are the "wet dream" of "the rich", why is it, that ron paul has not received ANY donations from big corporations yet? it is because they FEAR the free market. a free market means, that there would be actually competition on so many levels of business. right now it's the government is in bed with the big corporations and they intend to keep it that way. you might have heard of "lobbyism".

  • @maddies1 Because they know Ron Paul can't win that's why. It's simple. I am aware of current politics and I see Ron Paul as a step in the wrong direction. The Free market is a myth and Ron Paul is a dreamer. Get real.

Ron Paul is a perversion of a libertarian and the libertarians are a perversion of the word libertarian. Every where else in the world libertarians and socialists.

  • @tommytowne "fascism" is present, when big corporations are working together with the government and regulate the market. regulations kill competition. real competition is the LAST thing that they want.

and why are you saying "no constitution"? ron paul does not want to abolish all government. he just wants to reduce it to a minimum, so people finally get their liberty back.

  • @maddies1 Tiny weak government big corporations will be the new face of fascism if the Libertarians are allowed to run things. Corporations getting liberty will be the ultimate control of the people. Why is this so hard to understand?

I completely understand Ron Paul and his platform and has understood for years. Pretty simple actually. I prefer a liberal democracy to a corporatism.

  • @JohnMartinsonII wtf how antisimetic r u???

  • interesting from financial times editor

  • "And the way they [the elite] stay in power is not only controlling the means of production,...but by controlling the cognitive map: the way we think." - Gillian Tett

Very true. People believe they have free choice in America, yet they don't realize that the choices they have are created by the powers that be. Analyze your context, understand what's created your context, and you'll experience an epiphany of what "freedom" means in this country and how you're psychologically manipulated 24/7.

  • It was an honor to be asked to participate in this film..

  • Wilkerson is a fucking bad ass.

  • Is this film available to watch other than through private screenings?

  • Banks love us, radiation is good for you, the TV is truth. Now go back to whatever you were doing and remember FEMA is there to help.

  • @SylG73 How is Ron Paul invested in the status quo? If your going to spew your lies you need to back them up because Ron Paul is as far from the status quo as anyone can be.

  • @ChainMailArmor Ron Paul believes in free markets and Austrian economics. This will concentrate more wealth in the hands of the few (i.e. CEOs), since it will empower corporations. It doesn't mean he's part of the status quo, just that unfortunately, there's a lot of bad ideas mixed in with good ones in his belief system.

  • @kji02 Which is why he receives so much support from them! Oh wait, he hasn't gotten money from CEO's or lobbyists. So, your statement makes no sense to me.

  • @SylG73

    Well said.

  • Vote Ron Paul if you do not want the same old business as usual! Yes it might mean his death, but their is little else we can do.

  • Start a revolution and put the people in power!

  • Vote Ron Paul. He will end fiat money and destroy the corruption that has gone on in this country since 1913. End the Fed so we can have truly free market capitalism and not this socialism we live under

  • @tommy35ss

Right, like the bankers weren't in control of orchestrating chaos economics before 1913. Don't believe the hype.

  • @tpwatson the panics before 1913 were due to fractional reserve banking multiplying the money supply with a gold standard. Fractional reserve banking is a form of fraud. I wasn't implying all our problems would be fixed but the majority would and we would not be forced into economic slavery

  • How can the global financial empire collapse if they can just erase debt, like they did with half of Greece's debt. If there's not enough money they can always print more and erase more debt...they'll always win, won't they?!? Unless the entire real world collapses.

  • I can't wait to watch it!!! What's the release date!? Anyone? Thanks!

  • Be careful what you wish for. Problem + Reaction = Solution. The result from all of us doing the Occupy Shuffle could be a whole new financial structure that guts American sovereignty & makes us all the victims of the Banksters Trojan Horse - One Socialist Government.

  • @muzzmatrix If it were truly socialist the workers would run it by definition.

  • @muzzmatrix - it appears that we're being manipulated like pawns on a chessboard -- don't be fooled, people.

  • Herp derp "we have privatized public functions" - it doesn't make a difference whether a monopolist performs the function itself (government) or farms it out to one of its favored corporations. IT'S STILL MONOPOLY.

  • Suppose we do go back to gold and silver. What kind of exchange would there be? 371.25 grains of silver is approximately US$23.13 as of 2011-10-07.

  • Another important point is that many of these Scandinavian countries have been moving away from Socialism toward Freedom for decades now, while the US has been moving in the opposite direction for arguably over 100 years. Again, Norway, Sweden etc are really only socialistic in name, and at that only in the relatively less important areas, while the US is similarly only free in name, in many ways.

  • If he's so nutty, why is it that he's been reelected some 8 times in his Congressional district in Texas? How can he have been saying the same, principled, coherent things for over 30 years now? The fact is that Ron Paul is anything but nutty.

  • It will take a Revolution worldwide to defeat these satanic banksters. Hang on folks, its going to get bloody and ugly. These criminals will not give in easily. They think they own the planet; we will show them different!

  • Any solution then, MUST be to get rid of government power, not to give government more power. This is the trap the government and the corporations are laying. They ARE conspiring to trick people into attacking capitalism in order to get people to give more power to government. That power will then be used to destroy all competition as the top elite corporations are merged with the government and the unethical given top positions in the 'new' western politburo.

  • @ostralopithicus Its a balance act is it not? To limit government can be a setback for democracy. I think it i most important to get rid of the corporate influence over government. Like the money in politics bullshit that is going on. States should not grant an entity like a corporation rights beyond people.

The real problem could be that the electorate is defective..not really the politics. As long as people vote crazy this happens. But they are of course under corporate propaganda soo..yeah!

  • @daveruda The way to get rid of corporate influence is to get rid of that which they would try to influence in the first place. If we grant more power to the government to get rid of corporate influence, there will simply be more power for corporations to influence...if that makes any sense at all. A corporation is simply a group of people who pool resources in order to achieve something. It shouldn't surprise us if groups like this try to buy the power of government. Anybody would do the same.

  • @sadkins1 Well maybe. But how come this has happened most in the bussiness run societies with scaled back govenrnment social services? I specificly mean UK and USA. Huge income gaps, very wealthy elites, crime rates skyrocket and so does health problems. But compared to strong social democracies like scandinavia..people still trust in government, are active in unions and therefore bussiness dont get the upper hand as easily. Attack the problem via government to weaken corporate control instead?

  • @daveruda Scandinavian countries do have very extensive social services, but they also have a high degree of economic freedom. Aside from certain income tax rates, which are high, the economic climate in which businesses operate in Scandinavian countries is much more straightforward than it is in the purportedly free United States. Because of limited space here it's hard to get into it, but the fact is that the highly "socialized" nordic countries are much freer than the US.

  • @sadkins1 Good points! I just like to shif the focus from blaming Government. corporate personhood rights was decided in courts. Smaller government...what part do one make smaller? You might as well open doors to private capital to take more control.

  • @daveruda I think we agree that a problem with the current system is that "big business" has too much control of the government. That is to say, large, multinational corporations have proven themselves to be able to game the system in order to benefit themselves. Why would a larger government prevent or change this? Wouldn't we just see corporations gaming an even more powerful system?

A relevant term to look up is "regulatory capture".

  • @daveruda I would also point out, as a sort of thought experiment, that in the "biggest" government of the 20th century, USSR, we see that the totalitarian state power was not wielded fairly and evenly for the common good. Those in the government, or those closely connected to it, did not have to wait in bread lines. They drove nice automobiles and received excellent healthcare. In the USA, our democracy has done little to prevent similar corruption. Shrink government, don't grow it.

  • @daveruda Finally, you say private capital will take more control, but that's just my point. What are they taking control OF? In a completely free market, they don't have the power to forcibly, legally block competition. They can't capture a regulatory agency to benefit themselves if there are no such regulatory agencies. Greed is a problem, sure, but the fear of losses is a check on greed. Big government favors certain businesses and removes the fear of those losses. No govt, nothing to control

  • "Fascism is more appropriately called corporatism as it is a perfect merger of STATE and CORPORATE power." --Benito Mussolini, fascist dictator of WWII Italy

  • The corporations get their power and authority from the government. Without a government they wouldn't have the limits on stockholder liability and stockholders would not then tolerate unethical behavior as they'd face lawsuits. The REAL problem has always been with government as it is used by the unethical, to stifle their competition and to destroy the value of money, leaving us all in the poor house and subject to the mercy of the corporations.

  • it's not just about controlling us with money, they try to control our mnds too! but we are already making a change and waking up others by spreading the word

  • Step right up folks and get your front row seats, Its all happening! Its all so blatantly obvious! Its both exciting and mad at the same time. How will it finish? ................ nothing finishes, it just transforms. Lets transform our wild and wonderful experiences into open and loving brilliance :-)

  • THIS IS WHERE THE "PUBLIC SERVANTS" HAVE AND WILL CONTINUE TO FAIL THE PUBLIC.

  • Expose and dismantle the illuminati, rise up human kind.....

  • the time is NOW!

    WAKE-UP, STAND-UP and SPEAK-UP!

  • Stop the banksters. Vote Ron Paul.

  • @LiveFreeOrDieNow Ron Paul is a nutjob. I know it's a common belief that he's one of the better candidates, but he still has some down right fucked up policies.

  • @HaliFins a nutjob that has proven to know what was on the horizon a decade before any of the "experts." People mocked him for his stance of the Federal Reserve for decades, until 08. Now that's the trendy talking point. Evvvvverybody wants to end the Fed! People mock him for his foreign policy, but if he's such a nutjob, if he's so out of touch, why is it that he has received more money from active military members than all other R's COMBINED, and more than Obama, the commander in chief?

  • @sadkins1 Believes in an almost conservative christian america. Let's not forget this: Is a supporter of the "we, the people act": Forbids all federal courts from hearing cases on abortion, same-sex unions, sexual practices, and establishment of religion, unless such a case were a challenge to the Constitutionality of federal law. Makes federal court decisions on those subjects nonbinding as precedent in state courts,[58] and forbids federal courts from spending money to enforce their judgments.

  • @HaliFins As to your points on federal courts, those have little to do with his conservative christian values, and everything to do with limiting the central national government. This country was founded on states rights, and the principle of localism is an important check on federal tyranny. Ron Paul opposes Roe v Wade not on the grounds that abortion is immoral (though he thinks it is), but that it imposes on states the obligation to make it legal, which is contrary to the constitution.

  • @sadkins1 So much to cover that I cannot. Bottom line: What you replace private capitalis control with is extening democtraic influence across society. Remember that government do not operate in a bubble of their own but simply respond to outside pressure. For a long time the majoirty was shut out in rigged elections by private capitalsits. The movements we see on wall st ect is a VERY important step ... to get people active again.

  • @HaliFins The man doesn't even believe in evolution. I think he's the most reasonable presidential candidate, don't get me wrong. But I think the fact that that is the case, is very depressing for the american state of politics.

  • @HaliFins The fact that an individual candidate's personal opinions and religious beliefs/practices should even be newsworthy is more depressing. He's the only candidate who will not impose his beliefs on other people. The question of evolution is irrelevant for the office of the Presidency. He never brings up his spiritual beliefs because they are personal to him. I would be much more worried about an evolutionist who tried to force that belief on the public than Ron Paul.

  • Can you hurry up and release this documentary before the global empires collapse? Thanks...

  • why are they taking so long to release this? feels like they are waiting for the global economy to collapse before releasing

  • @amrans

That's what I'm wondering! Shit! I won't be able to buy Battlefield 3, either!!

  • The deal is, until the elites are killed, nothing will be done about it. Likewise, even if the elites are killed, the power vacuum will be replaced by something worse (i.e. a Napoleon or a Stalin).

  • Corporations are far too powerful. We need the free-market - it is rigged.

    Solution?

No speculation on LAND and its RESOUCES. Increased values in land are created by the community not the landowner - a fact of economics. Common wealth. Using Land Valuation Taxation (LVT) value is reclaimed to pay for community services. To offset, no personal income tax, promoting enterprise.

Currently, profits from increased LAND values is public wealth appropriated for private gain. LVT prevents boom & busts

  • This will be good. Complements "Inside Job." Big banks, government and corporations need to start thinking about the people and community and less about profits until we restructure the country.

  • bring it!

  • @HaliFins : you need to take a chill pill.i dont make a habit of arguing on youtube.Norway is cool = period.no sarcasm.i am half scandinavian.

  • @marcusguernsey

Then you have my most sincere apologies. I've been berated for my nationality numerous times by mostly Americans who has taken the time to check my profile. Sorry, carry on carrying on.

  • Our monetary system is based on credit or debt, and without constantly continuing issuance of debt, the whole thing falls apart. Our system of ‘fractional reserve banking’ gives commercial banks a licence to literally create money out of thin air. Fractional reserve banking is the cause of spiralling debt.

The biggest public campaign has started to abolish fractional reserve system. Visit the POSITIVE MONEY website and support the campaign...and spread the word!

  • There will be blood and I am looking forward to watching it on my TV.

  • Is Jim Rickards on that list? Looking forward to this.

  • 23

  • Upvote for John Perkins

  • release it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This... looks AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

  • Gold and silver the only way to escape the debt bomb going to go off everyones face. The ppl holding physical will be the only ones left standing. I dont see this being a quick event either its going to be a decade of pain which sucks for me as Im 22 :/.

  • @BullColapse Over the counter trade of gold and silver will soon be outlawed...

  • Hear in Ireland we have become the debt slaves to the gamblers in Deutsche bank and our politicians have abandoned the citizens in favour of the crumbs that the ECB have thrown to them. We are a piece full people but with the sheer scale of the betrayal now becoming apparent we will see blood on the streets before long.

  • @1Machholz The dirty banksters have done it to so many. I've thought myself, how in the world could the leaders in Ireland sell out the people so completely. Then I realize that the same is being done to many others too, it's just that the raping has progressed to a deeper level in your country. We will probably see blood in the streets here in the US as well, but not before you do. I wish you well in your struggles.

  • @1Machholz Agreed. Us Irish are been taken to the cleaners for the debts of the few. Those few either walked away with astounding amounts of money, or in many cases are still working in the likes of our National Asset Management Agency and still creaming it.

The revolution is not far......how far are we willing to go to save future generations?

  • @DominoOptimo That's how I used to think.

Until I read "The Revolution Betrayed", written by Leon Trostky during his exile here in Norway in 1936.

  • @1Machholz

"Hear in Ireland we have become the debt slaves"

Did you really say 'hear in Ireland'? That is 'here' you know? I mean, don't you know.

  • @1Machholz

Ireland is moving towards taxing LAND. This will drag Ireland out of the mud, and quite quickly as well. The more they tax LAND and RESOURCES and the less on income the sooner the country will boom and stay at boom status.

  • @NearAbbeyRoad The sooner "they" are stopped from the thievery known as taxation, the sooner mankind will blossom. You live in a "representative democracy": you get to vote for your "party of choice" every couple of years, the "party" in turn assigns a dictatorial 'leader' who decides to invade foreign countries and murder millions of civilians. Do you choose to pay tax? Do you choose where those tax dollars go? If you lost the ability to pay for your home, thugs will throw you out.FREEDOM?

  • @JonathanSeagullUtube

Homes are too expansive because of the land costs. The land costs are ratcheted up by restrictive planning laws creating artificial land shortages.

Income Taxation pushes the cost of public services onto the people not the landowners. Economic growth (community created) soaks into the land. extracting the wealth from land and its resources is where public services should be funded.

  • @NearAbbeyRoad In this day and age, there is NO NEED for taxation, which is stealing. If you refuse to "pay" you will be forced to. If you resist, men in costumes will kidnap you to put you in jail, if you resist this threat, you can be LEGALLY SHOT to death...Public services provided by volunteers is the way to go, unless you are satisfied with the service your present dictatorial regime provides...Do you enjoy paying for the invasion of Iraq...over a million civilians murdered, now Libya!

  • @JonathanSeagullUtube

I doubt public services manned by volunteers would provide a professional and comprehensive level; of services we have now.

Land Valuation Taxation will reclaim publicly created wealth to pay for public services and infrastructure with NO income tax.

I do not like wars at all. But we live in a dangerous world and need an army. It is the misuse I do not like.

  • @NearAbbeyRoad If I told you 20 years ago that tens of thousands of professional people who work 40 hours a week would spend thousands of hours to create free software, would you doubt the professionalism of that software? Open Office is one of thousands of such free software. Land tax is another form of oppression. Why does one have to "pay" to live on land? I would far rather contribute to my community then have money stolen from me to pay for murder, or even thugs to collect tax...

  • @NearAbbeyRoad Statism demands the use of an "army". Statism takes the resources of other states. Statism is a form of racism: to pledge allegiance to a flag is to separate oneself from others in the world...the "armies" of the world have murdered 10 of millions in the last few decades..."terrorists" have killed maybe 10's of thousands...the "army" are the real terrorists...misuse is ANYTHING other than defense of your nations borders...

  • @NearAbbeyRoad YOU are paying for the 'misuse' of your countries army right now...

  • @1Machholz ive said it before , the dail gates must litereally be brought down, if the day comes il be the first over the fence, but it must be done in unison. Europe is falling , we need to to strengthen our finacial ties wiht england and the u.s., before we break free from europe.

  • @1Machholz Damn!

  • @1Machholz Need to explain central banking to the Shinners.

  • The " Battle of Gaugamela " where Alexandra the Great confronted the Persian Empire, A suicidal gamble! Alexander had one trump card to play, he knew that 'greed' was the fatal flaw in the army of King Darius. Alexander deliberately plundered his way to this decisive battleground. He knew that the Persian Army would all want his rich baggage train, the prize of prizes! Greed is now the West's fatal flaw! Our defeat will come from real masters of Economic Warfare! NOT by Corporate Executives!

  • Looking forward to this.

  • I look forward to seeing it in the theater!

  • Fuck yeah!
