  • sorry please tell me whare did you taked the stackmate plzzz

  • Where do you get the clocks?

  • i dont like solving my 5x5 it takes me more than 6 minutes ^^, i rather do my 4x4 which takes my something around 2 minutes =]

  • Yeh you would kill the 5x5x if you learnt a faster method maybe just a faster LL.

  • I am getting better and better. If my cube doesn't pop I get times of about 2:20. If I am really focussed about 2:10. I still have a lot of room for improvements on the 3x3x3 part which takes me about 40 seconds right now (20 for F2L, 20 for LL)

Centers are getting faster, but 45 on average is just not good enough

I expect a single sub 2 as soon as I learn PLL and get a new (broken in) cube. Breaking 1:50 should be possible for me after I learn F2L and improve on centers

  • yeh that will be good, i saw on speedsolviing you have an intermediate tutorial for edges, do you have a video thats for intermediate beacsue i have only got sub 3 about 3 times and it will be good to get better at my weakness(edges), you cn see my video and what im doing wrong, thanks :)

  • I don't have a video for that (just text), but Erik does. If you tell me which video to watch I can probably give you some pointers

  • Just click my name and its on my featured videos its the ES in 2.54.52, thanks

  • If you dont already have it on your site, could you make a video on how to modify your cuve to make it faster?

  • Already done by others. Just google for the words: make cube faster

  • wow ive never accually seen the rubiks timer its like $100 much better solve than i can do. :) what cube is it regular 5x5 or studio i have a studio coming in mail yay

  • That timer is great, but I agree it is expensive.

At the moment there are really only 2 types of 5x5x5's. Rubiks and Eastsheen (VCube is only prototypes so far). There are several versions of Rubiks and the difference between them is bigger then the difference between Rubiks/Studio/Mefferts. The only way to tell is by looking at the stickers or the internal pieces.

This was a "2006-Rubiks" modified with some filing, lube and playing

  • Good solves!

My edge paring sucks. I only average 4:45-5 =\

  • Thanks, I just got a 2:12 last week at the Danish Open. All I need to get sub-2 is a better 3x3x3 part (keyhole + 4 look last layer requires to many moves)

  • yes i can do it in 23 min after first 5 days

  • With practice, you will become MUCH faster.

Congratulations on being able to do it at all

  • now if only my rubik's 5x5 were like that. =D

  • Take it apart, sand it a little on the inside, lube it, play with it a lot.....and it becomes a speedcube

  • i can do it in 15-30 mins ^^ hey! ive only had the cube for 4 days

  • Congratulations! It took me about 11 minutes the first time and after a couple of tries I got it down to 7 minutes. You will speed up just by trying and recognizing. (and your cube will also become looser/faster)

  • heh! i got it in 35 mins and i've had it for 3 days =P first HOUR i got it, it took me about 2 hours but that was because i had little idea on what to do =\

  • nice

  • Woo !

  • nice $100 timer rich dude, btw nice solve and cube

  • awesome avgalen! :P

  • Well he is a much nicer person than you are. The heart is what counts buddy.

  • solving a rubik's cube is a cool ability, and maybe thats why you don't do it? because you are not cool?hmm...
