Nariko died as a hero at the end, after she has been accused for being cursed by her own people

But at the end, she sacrificed herself and saved everybody

IThis is sad but such an epic ending suits an epic story

Another thing.

When I saw the thumb nail, which was Nariko's smiling face, before I finished the game I thought things would have a classic happy ending. But HS goes to hard for that and it really instills an greater understanding, losing something you'll never get back, losing it over something that wasn't of any true value.

But I'll say it again, it hallowed me out when I saw this, she just floats away and more importatnly leaves Kai. It was so gut wrenching!

The only thing i would change is the fact that Nariko dies. Call me crazy but I guess I'm a sucker for a happy ending lol.....Even though that would totally defeat the whole purpose of the story lol. But I love this game!

@elisalvador906 She died because she wielded the sword, actually. Whoever wields the sword, intends to use it to fight, will lose their life-force as they use it. The sword is... alive somehow and chooses a random moment in which the wielder will lose their life if they do not die by other means, as in killed by someone else.

I've now watched this playthorugh from end to end in one sitting. And damn, it looks, sounds and feels like a truly awesome game. The story itself seems a bit mainstream, but the storytelling makes it agreat experience. Not to mention the voice actors that makes it truly come to life.

And despite what people may say. For the sake of this game.. Dont make it into a movie. It will suck in comparison, suck super hard, as all movies based of games do.

But a sequel would be awesome.

hmm...if you look back u can see that nariko gave life back to shen and kai when they died... she also said that the sword was not from heaven but from somwhere else...i dont know where but i guess that we havnt seen the full extent of the swords power yet, the makers wrote a sequal but were never allowed to make the sequal...i think that the sword should have a twin and to revive the souls of past weilders of the heavenly sword as a kind of contrast...

This is such a beautiful game, everything in it is just so amazing. It has such a deep story, that draws you in and just keeps giving and giving. I've honestly never felt upset about a video game character dieing or getting hurt, but I was so drawn to the amazing characters in the game. Kai and Nariko make such great characters.

I really do hope that there will be a sequel, I don't want this game to just gather dust and be forgotten. I beg of you Ninja Theory...make HS2.
