OK, so as I read other comments it seems that the weapon has to do with rfid technology, combined with a rapid reaction/kill capability. That sounds feasible, but NOT that big a deal to me. I mean, game changer, yes, but nothing comparable to the Manhatten Project, in my opinion.

I would give my right nut to know what Woodward knows. Wonder how long till there is a leak?

I heard some tidbits from 6 month returnees about this stuff (but VERY general stuff). Apparently with new sensor towers, encoded "nanochips" adhere to clothing and suspects AFTER attacks are arrested by their clothing being "detected" in the operational area! Fascinating stuff!! Imagine being arrestable because of an embedded code!

The nanochips themselves are supposedly VERY limited in function (they are air-dropped) mostly they are breathed in! The "returnees" I spoke of are C-17 pilots who are ANG, and are returning again. They are JUST LIKE RFID in detection, but full time modelling of a suspects' activities exist as the "detector towers" are 24/7. This is really fresh info, and you know my past activities... one very good thing about all this is whoever plants an IUD bomb will be 100% det. by sensor history!

I wish I could too, but really the next place they'll be used (extensively) is Afghanistan/Pakistan war theater, most likely with same results as Iraq! Apparently- their ONLY use is in counterinsurgency... regular warfare use would be pretty much useless! Hopefully, they wouldn't be used here for monitoring society, doubt that though as they don't have enough "monitors"!

Do you think they've already developed the networked nanotech sensors which provide realtime data on the movement of every living thing in the area where they're deployed?

The original plan was for them to be blown into an area where, being dustlike, they penetrate into every room of every building.

The data they provide is embedded into a 3d reconstruction of the area, and the nanotech sensors provide the realtime data needed to reconstruct the living creatures in that 3d world from the real world.

In other words, they can view in the 3d world all living creatures and their movements as they happen in the real world.
