Holy crap! Your daughter was 12 and played this??? I played this at age 18 (and I'm almost 21 now) and this is insane!!! Especially how fast the cadenzas were played. At 12 I was not taking runs that fast. This is brilliant. She will be an excellent clarinet player, especially when she hits my age :)

u rock! im about ur age just a little older but I have to play this a solo for all state band i forgot how to play one of the cadenza's because i kept missing a note..... but u know that you can start slower and go faster on them OVERALL good job!!!!

Ugh I have to do this piece on bass clarinet next week for my audition. She did great, especially for her age! I'm 16 and I'm struggling with it. It's nice to hear how it's supposed to sound.

@101Glinda there are some complicated fingerings in the cadenza. make sure you notate all your fingerings before hand. and since its a candenza you can do anything you like to it so go slow if you want and speed up in parts you are sure about. hope this helps!

Nice job on the cadenzas! I am impressed, this piece is done from memory, with all the appropriate dynamics and rhythm changes, wow. And only 12 years old, she is going to be a fabulous musician. I forgive the squeek, everyone does it when they are a bit nervous.
