i am having some problems here. When i launch the multiman, it will get stuck there when i change the PARAM.SFO file to 3.55 and i dunno whether i need to wait there or not, since my ps3 is still running there, i can still go out to the main menu by pressing the ps button. And when i restart my ps3, i can actually enter the game but then another problem comes, it will jz get stuck with the loading screen, a ring turning there. someone helps me pls?

What a worthless tutorial. If you're going to do a tutorial video on "how to do" something, then you do it exactly in the video as the people at home need to, Skipping steps and saying do this and that, but not doing it in the video makes this a worthless waste of 4 minutes. Thanks you tool.

if you are using winXP Click on Start > Run > . (and hit Enter key) it's suppose to take you to your user profile folder. and than you will see all the extracted folder using PSARC.EXE

Hi,i have find a interesing thing.I compared all fix files with the orginal files and find out that only 3 files are different.

u2-journal-lod0 in actor33 folder

camera.txt in movie1 folder

eboot.bin

@NovemberRayn23 try it again.. try it on your desktop i.e. drag the file to your desktop. also make sure your pak23 is a full 8gb and not in parts. if it is in parts, then ftp the file to your computer.

@lui2gustavo the folders don't go into pak23. pak 23 has it's own folder and so does movie1. look inside the usrdir folder in the fix and you will see all the folders that need to be merged. pak23 in the fix has to be merged into the pak23 of your game folder and so on.

I think I may know the problem. I can't seem to unpack the "pak23.psarc.66600, pak23.psarc.66601, etc. How can I unpack these files. When I start the psarc.exe it stops and says windows has encountered a problem and needs to close.

@BIGBOSS1983100 first ftp the file from your internal hard drive to your computer. that way you will get the full file and not the .66600 split file. then run the full (8gb) file through the psarc.exe and it should work.

also, for those who are getting the split psarc file (the 8gb one) they need to ftp the file to their computer via flashfxp and extract the file on their computer. then the extracted files will be able to go on your external hard drive.

1) extract psarc files with psarc.exe

2) delete the original psarc files?

3) renamed the bindc1 folder to dc1 and placed it inside the empty bin folder?

4) replaced the eboot.bin from the rar

5) copied all the files from the rar to the game (note: it will ask you to overwrite, just click yes to all)

Hey buddy, thanks for the vid, helped me out alot. But, u haven´t sayd, that u have to change the Name of the bindc1 folder and put it in the bin folder. Sooo, here´s the note.

**IMPORTANT: When you unpack bin.psarc it creates two folders - empty bin folder and

one bindc1 folder with files. Rename folder bindc1 to dc1 and put it in the \main\bin\

folder so it looks like this: \main\bin\dc1\

I copied uncharted 3 onto my external hard drive and the pak23.psarc (8gb file) came as parts onto my hdd. So, i sent the files to my computer via flashfxp and did everything you told me to do in the tutorial,(and i put the extracted pak23 into the hard drive aswell) however when i connect my hdd to ps3 backup manager says split next to the game?

What should i do?

Ok I have been doing what you've said so far, I am extracting the .psarc files right now. I have 9 pak23.psarc.66600 (the other 8 files have different ending nubers) files that I am extacting and on the first one after awhile the psacr.exe quits and says there was a problem and it had to close. Do you have any ideas? My second question is after extracting, I'll have new folders but what ones do we replace? Can you explain that part a little more. Thanks
