  • THANX, my friend!! I realized later after posting previous comment. Such a beautiful EVO (VI), eh?? =D

  • Cracking car that silver Magna VRX at the end:)

  • @GForceVRX hell yeah, I loved mine it was Sable (black) and got it new in 2000 it attracted a lot of attention......best car I have owned to date. That model still looks good today, they should have shot that tosser from Chrysler that redesigned the front end in the next model.

  • @Ansett76 Definately man, brand new black VRX ai, that would of been awsome! the TJ series are def the better lookers, ive got a manual TJ Sports also in sable black, as your know they really get up & go!

  • @GForceVRX

    make it a ralli///art with a 3.8L, sunroof and on 20's

    thats my car.

    take your launch and double:)

  • Love the Mitsubishi. I own a TJ Magna AWD and love everything about it. Modifying it merely means getting the package to even better things :) Great platform.

  • I remember a slightly different version of this commercial. The one where the beginning is a little different.

  • @ctomeiaviles ...it's an Evo VI (6) lol

  • i like this ad..the cute babe with the husky in the backseat rnd the 35 sec...

  • 1 minute commercials in australia? that sucks. :p

  • 1....2......1...2..3..OOOWWwwwww

  • Actually, "You Get What You Give", not "Only Get What You Give".

  • were evo's ever even dealer-sold here in aus?

  • @bsteph95 Yes They still sell evos brand new aus this very day.

  • no fto? those things are awesome, and the dsm eclipses

  • Mitsubishi is one of the best, back then and nowdays. Galant was awesome, Eclipse was awesome, Lancer Evo is awesome and it gonna be always awesome :P

  • fuck you love toyotas mitsubishi cars are very reliable and stylish to look at

  • @ronmrs I am not trying to anoy anyone just stating fact. Mitsubishi made reliable cars before the mid 80's but now they are not. I have seen and heard alot of prove of this. Mitsubishi is a strugling car company these days because they have a name to be unrelabile cars which they are. However i not saying they don't make nicely styled cars cause they do.

  • @LOVETOYOTAS thats why your wrong kid, i once own an 86 galant, and its like shit! dont get me wrong its a comfortable car, and quite fast for a 1.8 litre engine, but the parts r like shit they died prematurely, and u really have to choose the right oil & radiator coolant,it overheats too much, but my 2001 galant never had any major problems, never overheated, great performance too..unlike honda screaming engine lol

  • aah the golden era of mitsubishi!

  • the best car was the EVO the real best thing was new radicals music in you!!!!

  • this is one of the best adds ever made... and i have lost count of how many lancers i have had...

  • I've had 3 mitsubishi's and not one has broken down on me. Normaly if you service your car you have no problems but it seems Toyota's, Ford and Holden always break down reguadless if you service them. I know coz those car's give me a job,

  • Thumbs up for the Manfaturer of master-rallycars, MITSUBISHI!!!

  • Mitsubishi have allways made a lot of very nicely styled cars, they still do what lets Mitsubishi down is the fact alot of their cars are so unreliable and this is why Mitsubishi is struggling to sell cars now days. Mitsubishi has nearly gone broke several times.

  • @LOVETOYOTAS Where have you been living. Mitsubishi are the most reliable manufacter. That is why in australia they offer the biggest new car warrenty

  • @hexagonview Mitsubishi have been very unreliable in the past, I have seen it with my own eyes and as a result of this they are a struggling car company. This is why they have introduced the longest warranty to try and encourage sales. I have admited i don't know what the brand new models are like but the old ones have been very unreliable.

  • @LOVETOYOTAS What country are you in.

  • @LOVETOYOTAS Just fuck off and let us all enjoy the memories

  • I miss this ad so much, Nowadays its all "LOVE that Car" which IS A CRAP slogan!?!? ads these days are just pure bullshit it seem's Australia doesn't know how too make a commercial now it seem's to know how to make a Broadway mini show for fucking Insurance for cars its SO ANNOYING, PLZZ GET IT OFF MY TV!?

  • I got the 91' colt . 1.3 12v ...that car never failed me .. 300 000 km and it still runs to 180 kmph ,never touched the engine !! Mitsu for life !

  • Can you pl. pl. tell em where this music piece is from?? I'm loving it!

  • @malfirst New Radicals, "You get what you give", in the future you might want to google the lyrics like I did and voila!

  • @Designandrew

    Thank you heaps!!!

  • one of the best car commercials! I love to sing along to this while driving! Heavely!

  • Love that car!

  • this ad is not made only for wrong side of the wheel ... it's for left side to !

  • Good ad, good song.

  • Wtf 0:03 he left hand drive...

  • that VR-X at the end is a hot lookin car........still!

  • go radicals!!! mitsu!!!

    ^_^P

  • i love mitsubishi,,,;)

  • I bought a Magna back in 2001 when this ad came out. Only car ad I properly remember.

  • Who cares where the ad was made, it's design for Australia.

  • In 1994 the engine in my 89 Magna blew up at 3 in the morning in the pouring rain while driving from Canberra to Brisbane 20 kilometres south of Gosford. I've never owned a Mitsubishi since and never will.

  • @MrDaveLogan

    gg

  • @MrDaveLogan well my friend was driving from Taupo to Auckland in his car and saw i guy on the side of the road having problems with his brand new Mitsubishi Lancer. So my friend stoped to help him and it turned out the Lancer had dumped all its oil on the road and stuffed its engine and when he had heard back from the guy a few months later the guy has had more probs with the Lancer and had got rid of it.

  • wooo... TME evo.

didnt they only bring in 200 of those things?

  • wtb right hamd drive eclipse >.<

  • mitsubishi is the best

  • I've been slightly turned off by Mitsubishi thanx to that song.

  • I want to buy a fucking mitsubishi now.

  • This is how a car commercial should be. Just having fun driving and enjoying music. Not to mention with a bad ass car like the EVO!

  • 0:54.. damn that model magna looked tough.. just need to be awd turbo or v8 rwd a fwd big car it just isn't that cool.

  • thats a nice ass EVO

  • I remember this commercial from when I was a kid. I'm 20 now.

  • It's really a shame that from about this point onward Mitsubishi went through a really bad patch, especially with the crappy Lancer and 380 failure. It was a really good car, as was (and still is) the Magna/Verada.

I remember this commercial from when I was little, im 15 now :)

  • Wow wiki young person, I'm 47 and really do remember "footballs, meatpies, Kangroos and Holden cars" Looking back whilst these cars were rugged, they were awful in the sense of safety and fuel economy. I know because as a young fella my first car was a second hand LX Torona. I could write/crap on for ever about this, but to finish who rembers GMH remarkable marketing tool of RTS?

  • A pity Aussie manufacturing closed down. The Magna and 380 were very under appreciated cars. Listening to the words of the song "feel your dreams are dying" and "one dance left" about sumed up the factory's future.

  • oh ok i have no idea where its at!!

  • lol yeah

  • WTF is that kid doing at :24.lol

  • This ad was also shown in New Zealand. Love the black Evo. I'm a Subaru fan and own a version 6 STi but the Evo VI (TME included) would be my pick of all Evo's.

  • the song is called 'You get what you give" by New Radicals :]

  • What's the name of this song? =)

  • Do you have the one with Rockmelons feat. Deni Hines - That Word (LOVE)

  • great video - even better backtrack

  • One of the most successful vehicle campaign I have ever seen, or should I said I have ever heard, it really stood out compared to campaigns by Mazda 'Zoom zoom zoom', Toyota and Honda. I really missed this :)

  • when ever i here that song i think of this add and its whats known to me as the mitsubishi song

  • my favorite add (good old days =D)

  • Aussie ad!

  • The Verada at 34 secs, a beautiful car! That evo looks nice :D i want it

  • The Verada was a nice car to drive.

  • That's the EVO 6.5 TME edition (note the TME sticker on the bootlid).

  • Wow that Evo looks awsome! what is that? a 5?

  • the black evo looks sick as hell..

  • the first one

  • thats not an Australian ad its a left hand drive

  • its an australian ad. the evo 6.5 Makkinen, which is shown in this ad, wasn't sold in the US. the US only got the US evo 8 version which is crap compared to the jap, aussie, euro evos. so what if they show LHD cars here, this is still an Aussie made ad. Lastly, the VR-X shown at 0.54 is an Aussie version. How did I know you ask? The so called VR-X in the US is U.G.L.Y...like you it's UGLY!!!

  • i love the scene where the Evo shows....NICE

  • what makes the mitsubishi not cool? it's one of the best manufacturers out there

  • @kongbingyuan931202 Says the Asian

  • You should fuck off dickhead

  • I mean you atocombabayasuck

  • Actually, Mitsubishi isn't bad, and there not out of business.

And, they say that Evo is one of the greatest sucessful cars that Mitsubishi has ever produced!

  • 4s is right hand drive, so it can't be American, explain why you thought it was please, 7s there is someone on the other side of the car, but you can't see it very well, and the standard Magna wasn't sold there,14s is right hand drive therefore not American, 36 is right hand drive, so how can those be american?

  • Good times.

  • Great commercial, even better song!

  • mitsu rules

  • i love my mothers 03 pajero exceed, and this is comming from someone who drives a q7 lol

  • the song is, you get what you give by New Radicals? i now own a silver VRX exactly the same as the one at the end of this clip all because of this ad it amazing?

  • what song is this?

  • Easy Guys, No matter what, the Ad is awesome and Mitsubishis are always great cars,

  • Back when Mitsbishi Australia was optimistic

  • the lancer and magna look so good, back before they were uglified in 2003.

Oh, and some of those in-car shots are blatantly not Australian - American faces do look different.

  • this is ma fav ad ov all time. They should reshow it in nz. new radical rox

  • Fuck, this is my favourite ad ever, New Radicals rule.

  • There is 1 clip of a US car and thats it! and thats not a scene all scenes are in australia and a short clip is from the USA

  • This ad was made in Australia, every scene is in Aussie. This ad was also shown in NZ, exact same ad.

  • The first few cars appear LHD but then the remainder are RHD. Perhaps they just mixed footage from US and Aus.

  • Brings back the memories of the good ol days. :D

  • Also the Australian number plates.

  • Yep defiantly the Aus ad, I am pretty sure the diamante only had the parabolic head lights and the magna has standard ones, the verada later has parabolics though.

  • The diamante is the american version of the verada so they are almost the same.

  • i remember this ad

  • nunca crei que fuera a volver a ver este comercial, la ultima vez que lo vi fue en el 2001

  • saved this video with savetube.*com :D

  • Is there an American commercial with the same song?

  • Yeah, and the Magna is the best part of the ad.

  • u can tell this was just a US ad, mirrored for right hand drive in oz. Notice the way the Aus-only Magna was just thrown in here and there.. amusing! But good ad,.,

  • It's definitely a US ad. Saw the ad on a trip to the US in January 2003, though slightly modified.

  • Ah, the Australian Mitsubishi ad was released in May of 2001. If it was an American ad, we would have to have a rediculous voice over: ah like no can read?

  • The Mitsubishi Pajero scene looks like it was taken in Melbourne

  • yeah, part of it was filmed on the eastern freeway in melbourne. that distinctive curved noise barrier is near the doncaster road exit.

  • Yeah i remember driving through there. Looks good

  • omg its weird seeing people drving on the right for me XDD

  • I remember this ad was played every 10 seconds back in 2001

  • You Get What You Give is the correct title of the song.

  • people singing? Rather shameless...

  • I remember the EVO looks so cool in this ad! :)

  • OMG Awesome! =)

  • Very nice!

  • hmm never seen this before

  • EXELENTE!!! bravaza la cancion =)
