  • No I already had a dual link cable. My problem was caused by a bug in the motherboard. It was fixed by a hardware revision.

  • sorry it should be Lindy.

  • hi guys. it was a easy fix for me. ... its nothing to do with the gpu's .. Its the cable.

buy a LInda dual link cable from ebay. its fixed the problem. the old cables cannot do 2560x1600 but linda dual link cables works. =)

    ebay item number: 310153233642

  • @shaukat16 Nearly any good, non-defective dual link dvi cable will do 2560x1600. Some cheap ones are made to standard and you can experience problems buts its not about age.

  • hi mate, i got dell 3007wfp few days ago and its doing the same with my gtx 295. did you find a fix already. can you please help me. thank.

  • @Shazbom Did he ever figure out a solution? I am having this problem with a 8800 Ultra and 9800GT on two separate systems.

  • Yes that would solve the problem, but this is an ultra quiet build - adding a GPU would increase noise (or heat if it's a fanless card). Also Nvidia cards don't do HDMI sound properly...

Anyway I've isolated the problem - the new PCB revision of the motherboard will fix it - they said I can return it for a replacement when the new version is available.

  • :/ just get a cheap40 dollar gpu like a 9400 or a 9500
