@shaukat16 Nearly any good, non-defective dual link dvi cable will do 2560x1600. Some cheap ones are made to standard and you can experience problems buts its not about age.
Yes that would solve the problem, but this is an ultra quiet build - adding a GPU would increase noise (or heat if it's a fanless card). Also Nvidia cards don't do HDMI sound properly...
Anyway I've isolated the problem - the new PCB revision of the motherboard will fix it - they said I can return it for a replacement when the new version is available.
No I already had a dual link cable. My problem was caused by a bug in the motherboard. It was fixed by a hardware revision.

hi guys. it was a easy fix for me. ... its nothing to do with the gpu's .. Its the cable.
buy a LInda dual link cable from ebay. its fixed the problem. the old cables cannot do 2560x1600 but linda dual link cables works. =)
