The game sucks and is chock full of bugs. So bad in fact that my PS3 would lock up every time the game began to load. I fixed it, by deleting my game profile and lost 9 races of my season. THANKS BUGMASTERS! Assholes. Anyone serious about this game PLEASE rent it before you buy it.

If you like it that's fine, I'm just warning people so they don't fall for the BS that I did. It's not even a simulation, it's a bad arcade racer. BTW, the same problems are on every platform; PS3, 360 & PC... It's a bad game that was released before it was ready.

@slidel211288 "Small ratio"??? It's EVERY DAMN COPY! There is a forum at CODEMASTERS, you know, the developers that made the game? And there are FAR more than 1,000 people having issues. That's why they're working on a patch to try to fix; the AI issues, corrupt file saves, pit lane problems, etc..... A lot of the problems could have been avoided had the game been tested properly. I'm just warning people while you try to mislead them. Now go STFU like a good girl.

Despite the issues some people have been having, the game is still amazingly fun - even more so for F1 Fanatics. Fantastic buy, worth every cent, Personally haven't had any issues with the game on Xbox and have been investing a lot of time into it.

Mate you are 100% correct - this game is good but the issues make it real shit!!!!! I have also lost 9 races now on 3 occasions. Now it even comes up (Data corrupt) if I follow the codemasters (Workaround) saved as they said - came to race 9 and guess what (Data corrupt)

I have even contacted them via the online forum and you get the same old shit back I have informed them the problem this time is not with the Autosave or the R&D during 1st practice - same old email back

I am not sure about the Corruption issue. If you really wan2 win the race, try to qualify in the Top 10, then in the race, pit at the end of 1st lap. This will ensure a normal pit stop and by the end of the race, you would be at the top and also this will avoid the bug( if you pit as per the game's AI which will cause you to wait till the pit lane becomes free).

I am so looking forward to this game! I play on a PS3 with a G25 and a playseat but i really do need a decent racing game. Right now the only racing game worth playing on the PS3 is GT5P which i have played all cars on all tracks a million times, kinda bored with it now. 9 days to go. I can't wait!

rFactor is STILL unchallenged at the top! No competition at all. This will just be a console game for the masses. Speaking of console-port for PC, compared to rFactor, this will have a non-existant modding-community.

1- Arcade

2- fun simulation

3- Hardcore simulation

F1 is category 2, rFactor is category 3 ;)

@pellman87 I downloaded Rfactor, thought it was good but nothing special. This looks better than Rfactor and it isn't going to be Arcadey like Dirt. They have said that they will have all levels available to all types of players. Kids, gamers who want simulation etc... The upgrades during the season aren't upgrades like you think, they are upgrades that real Formula 1 teams develop through the seasons to try and make their cars better than the opposition. Rfactor doesnt have that.

@Andyc18 Ok, will the game have dedicated servers? Which is one of the most important things to have an community. Like in rFactor, thers a server with a homepage that records everybodys times and uploades records and so on. A great community. Thats a MUST for this sort of game, and you can arrange tournaments etc. When you start this consolegame its gonna be "Press start to enter" followed by an "cool" animation and then thers gonna be "Quickmatch" to play with random people. What a joke...

@pellman87 I admit that Rfactor will be better online, don't get me wrong, Rfactor is a great sim but this game will be absolutely based on F1. They have worked on it for over a year and have had Anthony Davidson working with them to tell them how the car should feel and handle. The beauty about this game is that you will be able to adjust the settings based on what level and age you are. If kids play it they can play it arcade style and more experienced racers can make it difficult and sim-like
