  • Isn't he is the same driver that Superiorpakfan filmed with that old hornsby truck in that other video?, I think this acco is spare.

  • He really loves the International Acco better than the Volvo FL6. The FL6s are crap and should get demolished to hell.

  • I love watching this video. Makes me want to drive one more and more since now i have my MR. Do you know if mje still manufacture single axle SL if ordered? I wonder if SMS will go with that instead of the single axle raptors when the contract is renewed

  • @Superiorpakfan Yeh mate they still make these single axle bodies, 14m and 18m in size. Very interested to see which trucks end up in Willoughby for the next contract... guess all we can do is wait for now.

  • Lane cove area are having the single axles back out again but for housing not units of course! :) there the only MJ SL i like cause dual axle MJS SL are too styled!

  • so many people in mosman put their bins out backwards.

  • AWESOME FIND! Love this little truck :)

  • Awesome video Mitch!

  • very cool truck! i like the looks of the shorter single ales better actually! just curious, why did he move a few yellow lidded bins into the street? awesome viseo!

  • Usually moving bins into the gutter stops drivers parking their cars right in front of the bins, which is a big problem there. The method works too =] Thanks!

  • ohh. simple yet effective i see!

  • great catch

  • Awesome footage! Keep these up! BTW, what was he picking up??

  • he was collecting garbage.

  • ok, thanks!

  • Im not a fan of this old MJ but suprised the old arm works. I thought for a second this truck was doing the bottles at the start but its garbage

  • Awesome!

HAHA this is considered the "Mini" truck huh?

    Nice job dude!

    5* fav!

  • I remember one time I was exploring streets in Sydney on google st. view and I found a truck like this (single axle + no signage). Come to think of it, these single axle ASLs are actually pretty rare here as well, glad you were able to get one on film the first time you went! Interesting idle sound to this truck, kinda neat though :) Lots of different places this truck was at, always cool seeing the different stops! Sure glad you dedicated 8.5 min to this beauty!! 5/5 and fav!

  • Wouldn't be surprised if it was this truck then, I think they only have one of these single axles now. Does have a unique sound compared to what I'm used to hearing, but it's an International model so that might be the reason. Thanks!

  • haha didn't even notice it was Int'l. :D

  • @MitchellM15 the main reason why it sounds different to the usual ACCO's is cuz the International badged ACCO G series had the Cummins C240 engine

  • Oh of course, tend to forget that not all Accos have the ISC! haha Shame there aren't as many other Cummins engines around, I think it's the 250 one that I particularly like =]

  • nice!

  • awesome vid,, at the end he was just about to go onto my grandads street lolss

  • sweet vid

  • Nice one Mitch, I really like these older trucks, shame that they are now all being replaced. I like the sound of the engine. The arm seems a little rougn, however still works very well. These small trucks look a little stumpy with the single axle and short body. Great footage Mate!

  • Yeh this is when we really start to appreciate the oldies. Good example with me was being sick of seeing MkIVs everywhere... now I want to find them because they're being replaced with GenVs so quickly!!! lol This one really smashes down into the hopper with some force hey? Cheers!
