Pan range, tilt range, lens zoom, illuminating angle can change synchronously with pre-setting points. High precision aluminum shell, anti-dust, anti-impact and water proof, protection level IP66.
if you know any camera like this or something better please let me know
Night vision 1000m and day vision 2000m, 370mm large-diameter lens, ½” high sensitive infrared color to black camera, 540/color, 600/black&white, double filters switch, photosensitive switch control automatically, 0.5® ̴17® continuously synchronous zoom illuminator, high precision external adjustable of light axis, pan-tilt load 20kg, shifting 1® ̴9®, high precision, built-in decoder and conductive slip ring, 360® continuous horizontal rotating.
I recently bought a Foscam FI8908 IP camera. Its really great for the price ($120) and features (pan/tilt, nightvision, the works), but now I am looking for something that has higher resolution (preferably megapixel) and is also good in low light. Please let me know your recommendation. Thanks,
Do you have a demo of a Foscam camera? Or do you know where I can find one. I know I should just google "foscam demo", but if you happened to have heard about this camera i would like your thoughts. Thanks.
it's COOL! But i hate cameras that access through Internet like that. Don't you guys have any cameras that uses NO internet but has the SAME features this camera has? comes with SLOWER moveable?
In addition to the BNC connection for video, you have to connect a pair of wires for the RS-485 connection to control the PTZ functions. This is the same as with a DVR. The recording functions of the IP server are much more primitive than a stand alone DVR or a Geovision PC.

How is the physical connection of a PTZ connected to the IPVS-MJ1 other than the BNC? Does it require additional equipment? Thanks
zenmonster 3 years ago
Also, what are the pros/cons between using the IPVS-MJ1 and a DVR? Putting price aside. Thx again.
